Hello all of you! As I discovered your respective channels Zatara and you only a few months ago, and immediately subscribe, so seing at first the more recent videos, and seing the teens of the two boats a little bored having no friends, I wonder if your two families had previously met, and the kids enjoying playing, swimming, a little messing being together, I really enjoyed seing Keith, Jack, Finn (Whitaker), Kate and Keith helping you Rob to prepare a big surprise for your wife, Declan and Ivan, with the return of your older son Finn after 18 months of separation because of Covid 19. I really enjoyed this video, full of happiness and love, but not seing if the teens enjoyed playing together. And now, as I travel backward in te past, I stumbled upon this FANTASTIC and lovely video, seing you , Zatara and the boat of Paris parents being so happy to be together, seing Declan former girlfriend Paris, before he fall in love with Chanelle (Declan is a real awesome boy, being also discreet and humble, as Finn (Hamill) is), and really enjoyed seing the kids playing together, having real fun 😀🤗. I also really appreciate your sons (Declan and Ivan) channel ‘Kiwi Boys’, and the Finn Whitaker one. So again I thank you for this video, I feel much more happy after viewing it than before 😊👏♥️. Continue the great job, stay safe and enjoy travelling with your loving family, and as said Mr. Spock in the Star Trek series and movies, ‘Live long and prosper’ 🖖 Alain from 🇫🇷

Wow... Watching you Kiwi folks laughing and talking immediately took me right back to 1977 when, not even 20 years old, I visited Christchurch, NZ on my U.S. Navy ship. We docked at a very small village which was close to Christchurch during that visit. Went snow skiing on Mt. Cook. Ate lots of superb food, most especially that wonderful NZ lobster. But what I remember the most is how nice everyone was to us. (Even the anti-nuclear protesters who maintained their presence on the pier -- many of us made great friends with them also.) For me, that visit showed me how beautiful the NZ country side is, but also how great the NZ people are. So yes, great video -- it made me feel "back at home" once again!
@TheCruisingKiwis4 жыл бұрын
Hi Warren well what a lovely story. Really nice to hear the locals enjoyed your company and even the protesters respected you. I think it would have been lyttleton you docked at. I've seen this one before, perhaps my first before I subscribed. Love and admire her, love the kids and grudgingly love Keith (he is a good, loving man despite his unoccassional cringe-worthy reactionary political rants). Again: Renee is the best. Maybe I wrote this before: I can't believe your numbers. I'll leave with the words (applicable to all modern age mankind) of H. L. Mencken: " No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." There is an unwritten rule in the world of American family oriented situation comedies: When ratings start to slip, have a baby; milk the pregnancy for the entire season. In the crowded world of sailing vlogs, I offer as proof Delos and La Vagabonde. Anyhoo: minor rant over. P.s. ☹️ The little Whitaker boy mentioning subscriber figures. P.p.s.: Declan whupping Jack Whitaker😀. P.p.p.s.: Is it likely that Keith Whitaker does not recognize that pineapples are an age-old gift of hospitality??? Perversely, that man intrigues me. Three days into a year that can only improve, I send you five my best wishes. Daniel Wardin.
