Kate is not even close to being invisible. When she broke her arm, I saw how tough she was and she quickly became one of my favorite Z crew members. I love all the Z crew though. I'm also extremely proud of Keith, with his new lifestyle focusing on his health, and Anna for her college acceptance.

Without getting political, thank you for making the case for national health care. We live in Japan (with the military.) I do not go to American doctors, even though, as you do, I have an international health plan ($200 deductible, but it's about $500/month through my university as the university pays 60%.) I only go to Japanese clinics, doctors, dentists, etc. because even out of pocket and not having Japanese healthcare, it is still much cheaper than going to an American doctor. After I pay out of pocket, I put my claim into my international insurance, and they will cover much of what i paid. A $10,000 deductible is insane. No one in Japan ever pays that much out of pocket for anything health related. I have also lived in Israel, Canada and the UK. You are correct about Obamacare, but, only because it is still a private profit making system. Enjoy your shows, but have a 50' motor yacht for coastal cruising. Sailing is too much work and takes too long to get places. But if I were sailing oceans, a Cat would be the way to go:)

I had thought you were patristic but now I know for sure. That makes me enjoy watching you even more! With that said, I found out that the Highfield dinghy is made in China and most people that I watch on KZbin have the Highfield. Granted, they look supper sharp and look like they are built extremely well. I would only get one with an aluminum hull and Hypalon tubes. Are there any high quality alternative's available that are made in America or the free world that aren't made in communist China?
@lordschelken
@lordschelken 4 жыл бұрын
Please tell me you don't have an IPhone... Because in our time a Lot of things are built in China - just because it is cheaper - but they have already good quality in certain things. (And they have a lot cheap stuff as well.) And their politics should not affect you in your Dinghy purchase.
@robertlaird6746

@@lordschelken, When I spend my money on an American made product, it stays in America, supports the men and women and there family's that produce that product and builds the quality of life for all of us in America. If we send our money overseas, It leaves our country and does nothing to improve the American way of life for anyone hear in America. If Americans continue to purchase products made in China, America will end up with less factories that employ Americans and the quality of life as a whole will diminish in America. The housing industry will fall which is a major indicator of a countries wealth and the domino will fall on every other facet of life. This is why I go out of my way to make sure that the products I purchase are made in America with American materials and the company that I purchase that product from is an American company. I also support the people who have the same political views as me like Chick-fil-A for example. Don't be a sell out Lordschelken, support the country you live in and watch the economy grow around you. If you have these same values as I do than you also support our president Donald J. Trump. If you support spending your money in China than you support the Democrats who are sell outs.
@lordschelken
@lordschelken 4 жыл бұрын
@@robertlaird6746 Thank you for your long answer, and I do see your point. My IPhone part was sarcastically anyway because, even when you have the best thoughts, you are sometimes forced to spend money in foreign country's (well, you purchase an IPhone maby locally but it's still produced outside of America, in China to be exact, because Apple likes money obviously more than their country. Otherwise they would produce it in the US. What they don't. So you do make your purchase in the US but the people of China produced it and had their jobs because of it and Americans didnt. ) - especially when you cruise the world. And that's what my enitial point of perspective is: the own country, where you are born and raised, is and will always be special to you and where you always feel home, even when you life somewhere else, but there are great places on earth that are worth to travel to and for that you have to spend your (in Amerika earned) money in foreign country's anyway. You could now say "Well, I will spend my money for food and stuff there but not on the expensive things. Because I buy that at home and take it with me." - What again, sounds good, but will not be possible. A catamaran for example (and that will be the biggest expense for this trip): the good ones are made in South Africa, in France and in Poland. Not one single brand is from the US. So you have to bite in that apple again anyway. But you should not be to hard to yourself because you could also think that there are good humans in every single country (as well as there are stupid people in every country as well) and they also work hard for their money to eat and raise their children. And maybe someday go to America on vacation to spend the money they earned from you for American people. Because it is a circulation. And that's why you also can spend money on foreign stuff because it will return somehow anyway. I hope you can understand what I try to say (English is only my second language) - but still be free to do what ever you like. Because that's the right every human deserves. No matter where he/she/it comes from. Best regards anyway.

Great Q & A. That being said, you have a problem with the Affordability Care Act yet you mooch off of other country's socialised health care and brag about it? That makes you kind of a narcissistic hypocrite. Not so much because you use other country's socialized health care, but because you oppose people in your own country having access to affordable health care.
