Thanks for the heads up on the "for sale ads for gigsea. Much good luck. You have kept gibsea in stellar condition with very professional improvements, upgrades and repairs. Anyone buying her would be lucky to get a boat in such good condition. Quote me if you like. Nice save with the rescue of the dragging sailboat.

Good on ya- Jibsea. Rescuing another cruiser's boat dragging anchor like that. That got a thumbs up from me right away. Well done Steph & Travis. Yeah it has been a year- it did fly right by for you two. U both have come a long way in that time. It is ok on the possibility of an upgrade to your current boat status to- a bigger home 4 us? I have enjoyed your journey, thanks for bringing us all along. Look forward to your maybe new adventures on Jibsea 2 in 2022? Mast up, keel down with a favorable wind to guide the both of you to new adventures to come.

I figured that this was exactly what was happening with listing Jibsea. Being in the cheap seats and not riding the first class Patreon cabins I didn't expect to be let in on all the inside plans. It would be good entertainment to watch you guys switch boats and do more DIY fixxer-upper and personalization jobs.

We appreciate every view from every seat! 😆 it’s nice to sometimes not have a huge project underway where we can enjoy our surroundings. But then again, a boat is a boat and there’s always a project…the smaller the better though😂

I saw your ad on "for sale by owner" website and I thought, "either Steph is pregnant or somebody convinced them that they need a full keel hull boat for ocean crossing." Wrong on both counts. May you two keep having fair winds and following seas!

Yuck 🤮 cats may be fast on a beam reach but suck upwind. So I hate hearing how fast they are because they really aren’t. And I can’t imagine being out in one in heavy seas.

Just a small correction. Martinique is a French overseas department rather than a territory. It's an integral part of France and the EU.
@jimlofts54332 жыл бұрын
same as New Caledonia
@ajkgordon2 жыл бұрын
@@jimlofts5433 No. New Caledonia is a separate overseas collectvity. It differs quite significantly from an overseas department in that it is much more independent. It has its own currency, is not part of the EU, has a certain amount of independence in its foreign policy, can create its own laws, and has its own president and government. An overseas department is essentially the same as any department within metropolitan mainland France with a few minor differences in political representation, e.g. it's both a department and a region.

Glad you addressed what you are doing with Jib Sea and why as I have been wondering about it since you posted on Patreon a while back that she was up for sale... have been watching your videos from the beginning. Must admit I did not like the "princess attitude" of this chick, but as time ha gone by it is obvious it has come down tremendously. Less make up, less attitude, far more natural looking, and far more friendly. Now I really want to see the rest of the story...............

@@SailingJibsea No offense was intended. We all evolve over time, and you have for sure. First few videos showed attitude, too much make up, "I can't get wet princess attitude", etc. You are pretty without it all, and now it shows even more as a lot of the "city bullshit" has also come off you. Enjoy the journey!!! It was actually a huge compliment even if I am not evolved enough to show it.
