I just LOVE that you nametag the different fish and wilde life you see when you dive. Pls continue with that. It's ok that you don't tag every fish. It's so much more intresting when you see what types of fish you encounter.

You guys made our day here in Sausalito, CA. We went to Bora Bora with you while we celebrated our birthdays with corn bread and fresh fruit for breakfast! Brooke, thank you so much for your superb editing including the fish name captions. Gary, your tour of your on-board dive shop was excellent. We cruised to Fr. Polynesia in 1976 - '77 on a 1 year visa on a Kendall 32 we had built from a bare hull. That Visa allowed us over a month at each island. So many fond memories. Lastly I took a screen grab of your eagle ray footage and I will use it as a screensaver.🤟

I used to free dive alot. But I was in my 50's back then. I used to dive between 30 and 40 feet regularly. But like I said I was younger than. Seeing the Octopi was so Cool, I have been diving over 30years and I’ve never seen anything like that & I didn’t know that was how they bred either. They looked like they were different, but maybe just between males & females? I appreciate the extra time & effort it takes to identify and then label the Fish, it makes a difference to feel like you’re learning something too!

I'm sure you've figured out the fruit you were eating at the end of your video, but I'm positive it was a 'Bora Berry' They're native from India. Do you recall if what they called them, sounded like 'baie de bora'...?

So did you guys also visit New Zealand during the South Pacific journey? I wouldn’t go to Australia but New Zealand is a must I would say.

Hey Dylan! Yep! You will see NZ in future videos! We aren't sure if we will visit Australia. It's possible but not on our radar yet.

@@SailingOneLife Can’t wait. Australian Immigration and/or customs can give you a hard time. I am sure you hear some stories from other sailers. Would you sail west towards Indian Ocean or back east towards South America next? :)

Not sure what Tahitians call the red fruit. Samoan name if Nonu or Gogu (sounds like "Gnognu"). Depending on the verity, it can taste like a plum or it can have an almost sweet but sappy flavor.
