Oh my gosh, Bear was so great in the hat and hoodie I made for him. It must have been cold to break that out, glad you had success with it after washing. Take care and sail safe my friends. 😊❤😊

We have also just hauled out over here in Rio Dulce Guatemala. Boat projects are a never ending battle to this cruising lifestyle.

Do you go anywhere for new year? Also on January 5th you should go to benidorm or Barcelona. (Or anywhere in spain) As they have a massive festival because its their Christmas. I go to benidorm but i think it might be boring for bear because there isnt much to do for him there (he isnt old enough to go in the bars or watch the comedy's) although you could just stay for the day. :)

"Too far forward" Look's like they would have broken your Keels if they had of moved that strap back any further and had of tried to lift from where you wanted him to lift from. It was back as far as it goes. This is why we get experts to do dangerous things for us. Its not just you by any means. You see this on every sailing channel when they haul out. Problem is people haul out once a year at most, usually. Well the crane operator hauls out many boat every day for years on end and went to school to learn. Add to that the cost of the boat and the fact its your home and transportation. Boat owners nerves go crazy when hauling out. And they all yell bad info at the crane operator about the straps. I seen one with a 70 foot boat no sails, just motors. where the guy wanted the straps back further and they told him they can't over and over and the guy started getting aggressive and yelling at the crane operator to stop and demanding he move the straps. They listened to the boat owner and the straps broke two hydraulically controlled fins near the bow. The guy admitted it was his own fault in the video he uploaded.

Thanks for your advice, I appreciate your comment and normally I would agree 👍 Although this cowboy actually damaged out hulls from chocking it up wrong and cost us thousands of pounds worth of damage! He also damaged another two boats while we were there swinging boats around and hitting other boats!! And he bend all the back frame on the yacht next to us with the bottom of our boat when he was trying to squeeze it past! This is why whilst travelling you can’t trust anyone even boat yards to be so called experts or not damage your boat!
