Keith, Im so so so proud of you for working hard to get back into shape & healing your body! YES, I know that I could never get infront of the camera like you are doing and talk about weight loss LOL. You are a brave man!! Next time you are in port buy a sewing measuring tape (Walmart, sewing shop etc $3-$6) and keep a record of your inches you are losing each week as this is more accurate. Measure your neck, weights, arms, legs, hips etc. Also, have Reene take photos of you each week (back, front, side) this is where you will really start to see your body change. These photos are what bodybuilders use to stay on track when getting ready for a shows. The scale will go up and down with water weight each week and is not as accurate as the measuring tape or better the photos each week. You dont have to share the photos with us but, you WILL see a difference in the photos as the weeks progress. Also, do a search for "Atkins fat fast" = this is excellent for when the the scale stops moving to get the weight moving again. This is where you eat higher fat 90% for 2-5 days only then go back to 70-80%. This works wonders! You can read the Atkins Diet book online with your driver license state/city library online. They will no doubt have his book so that you can learn about this fat fast trick to get the scale moving when you hit a weight stall. Keith, good on you bro for doing the low carb method. I got scared from the pre-diabetes talk with my doctor and started at least 8 years ago. First 30 lbs came off in 6 months. Strict at first then ease into the "better" carbs like potatoes, corn and beans. After 2 years I was at my "target" weight of around 200-210. I started at 265. In college I was 140-145, so it was a big change. My wife and friends were willing to accomidate a lot which helps. It's really a lifestyle change and gets easy after the first 6 months-1 yr. I don't miss the bad stuff and things like sugar, bread, processed carbs actually make me feel bad now. I love your channel and have watched for years now. I want to see years more. Your kids were extremely entertaining, but you and your lovely wife still make the show. Your humor and wit and Renee's putting up with it makes me smile every week. I do like your kids' channels too, but it isn't the same. They will get there eventually.

I just want to say that I'm 22 years old and have been following you since I was 16. In 2020, when I first started college, I lost 135 lbs. I always struggled with my weight growing up, and until I lost it, I didn’t realize how much better my life could be. Everything changed, from the way I’m respected to how I feel. WOW! Big ol' lobster. Nice going Keith! Yummo on those cheeseburgers, too! Leave out the sugar and your body will respond very fast to adapt to burning fat instead of sugar. The condiments, taters, etc. is still injecting sugar into your system, clogging arteries & delaying weight loss. Try just drenching your steaks & seafood in melted butter. If you're concerned about inflammatory issues (like gout) then stop ingesting sugar. Sugar & carbs are the same thing. They cause the same unhealthy inflammatory responses in our bodies. Don't count calories. Be happy & stuff yourself with protein & healthy fats.😉👍

When I was stationed in Iraq, I spoke to a man who walked 8 miles to vote in his first free election. He had a prosetic leg also. I asked him 'why would he walk so far to vote?'. Keith said something a couple of episodes ago that I really related to, it's tough to concentrate on losing weight when you have to worry about running a business, family, sports and volunteering. I'm a big guy too and had some really successful attempts at losing, but I always end up getting obsessed and discouraged when I plateau and regressing. Maybe it's time to try again. Start small. Remember, the weight didnt come on overnight and the weight wont come off overnight. Problem is we're too impatient. If you go cold turkey, you will have a harder time staying w it. Start small. Instead of a bag of chips, eat a half. Then next time a 1/4.

Want to lose weight, drink 2.5 times as much water than you normally would, and make the effort to stay off the carbs. But the best way is to eat only in a small window of time of maybe 4-5 hours a day and the rest of the time you are fasting. Weight loss is 65% diet and the rest is exercise. You really do not need to have 3 meals a day as you are not really exercising all the much on a boat. Of course everything taste better with A1 Steak Sauce................it is kind of hard to argue that one. Best of good fortune to you both.😎😎

Voting is of utmost importance ! I live in a red state, and i want it to stay that way. The 👈 is openly talking about flooding TX with 👈 voters to flip the state blue. Complacency is what caused this issue we are dealing with now 🤷‍♂️

He can go solo diving but he should take stuff double. Like secondary air source at least ! That's why there is a buddy system in most sportsdiving organisations. I go solo diving which is really nice because its one of the places in the world where you are completly alone and it is close to fully quiet :)

It's a shame you won't vote. Regardless of you not being in the States, you're still a US citizen and should care what is happening where you are from. This really is disappointing to hear. All our friends (around 7 couples) are all coming back to Texas in November to vote. It's that important!!

We are very disappointed you refuse to vote. The down ballot is important too. You should vote to protect your right to homeschool. Also, there is so much cheating that your vote is needed regardless of whether your state is red. For example, in my county with 38,000 registered voters and negative population growth, there were 7000+ new voter registrations dumped this summer! Very suspicious. We have enjoyed watching your show and following your adventures every Thursday for the past four years. As an objective Canadian who has no vote in your election but has watched everything from both sides for the past 10 years or so... it isn't even close. The two of you have so much more in common with Kamela Harris and Tim Walz. They both believe in education and would sign the right to a women's bodily autonomy. I know you don't want Cate to have less rights than you and your mother had. I just don't know why so many people like a guy who never says anything nice or positive about 'his country'. He bashes everyone and everything in it without justification and then says only he can make it better. From where we stand it's already pretty damned good and I get depressed every time I hear him saying one part or another is the latest mess. It's exhausting and boring...like his rallies.
