I'm 15 and crying at it, I literally grew up on Sailor Moon cause I have a sister your age who was really into it, I still have a bunch of VHSs and DVDs, I even had a phase of only saying Chibi Chibi and getting my sister to be Queen Beryl, and omg the amount of OCs I have (their names are all bad), I still have all the endings/openings, the SuperS movie, and even a few episodes in Japanese memorized... Uh anyway, my point is I'm glad I can have the same nostalgia as the people who were growing up while it was still on air :)

I am 28 year guy from Russia. Watched this show in ~1999 (+-1) when i was 6. Even then, I found this ending very sad. And now there is a feeling of nostalgia for those times. Although they were incredibly heavy at the time in Russia (90s)

This song brings out such an insane sense of nostalgia for a lost place in time, even though I never heard it before last year. I remember watching this show as a kid in the 90s on recorded vhs tapes that friends made because we didn't have cable, and the dubbed version never had this song (that was made in 1992?!) Life is so much different now, and it's incredible how this show completely transcended its initial demographic

To be honest, I always preferred the manga over the 90's anime. (Which doesn't mean I think it's bad, but I didn't like the fillers and plot changes in the anime) But I gotta say that the anime had an amazing OST, including this song. So beautiful.

Such feeling this ending gives, eternal encapsulation of a deep yearning as one solely waits for that certain someone. Along side of "Kimagure Orange Road", "Maison Ikkoku", "Inuyasha" and more, Sailor Moon certainly has some of the most memorable and golden music of all time in the history of anime. 17 years has been passed, since this upload. I don't know if you're there or not uploader, but I truly wish you well. This nostalgia is so difficult to handle alone, tbh. It's overwhelmingly strong and beautiful. Wish, I could share these things/feelings with someone irl, I just wish. Thank you for sharing this.

Not gonna lie, but although I was never really into Sailor Moon, I was heavily familiar with her growing up in Burbank during the mid to late 1990s and had cousins who were total zealots for her. Lately, I've been watching this anime alot more and I gotta say....hearing this song kind of gives a bittersweet tear of nostalgia. Is that weird? I would always see this and the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons all the time on my TV and it brings back so many memories. I miss being a kid :(

Happened to be one of the best endings in the 90s Sailor Moon anime which never gets old and always stay young. The first ending "Heart Moving/Protect The Stars" is used in first 26 episodes and has two versions; The first version from from first 6 episodes and the Second Version from eps 7-26. This video is a second version where the silhouette headshot Usagi is animated at 0:40 compared to the still, colorfully detailed painting one in the first version. Plus a walking animation of Mamoru at 1:12 fades in appear with accurate choppy animated walk cycle as well. Note two differences in both versions!

This song literally sums up my entire struggle as a transgender child. I always identified strongly with Usagi, being tall and very blonde, and I would pretend that I was her, fighting evil alongside my friends. I continued to come back to the series as I grew up, but it took me years to fully come to terms with it and to tell those closest to me that I was living a lie, and that I was deeply miserable. I happened to accidently listen to this song when my MP3 player was on shuffle on the morning train to work, and it was like a self-destruct button. I burst into tears, exited the train at the next stop, and ended up on the phone to my mum in an abandoned car park, where I finally found the strength to tell her everything. Fast-forward 2 years, and I am happier than I have ever been. Thank you, Sailor Moon.
