You would not get it for SO MANY of them. Even beyond the obvious one of 'King Arthur's a girl' being a big trip for anyone who doesn't already know the series, there's shit like Sir Francis Drake and Nero both also being women despite BEING actual historical figures. There's both Achilles and Hector. Hector looks more like a rough but vaguely friendly mercenary from Fire Emblem than he does AT ALL resemble the crown prince of Troy that he is. Meanwhile Achilles also looks like a Fire Emblem character, but maybe more like one of the enemy units you can convert and he rides a wyvern or something.

The first book in particular does NOT hold up, and there's a lot of systemic problems like the mechanics of Thestrals. What's the point of sending letters by owl if you can send messages through the Floo network, for example. Can't possibly tell me it's cheaper to house and feed an owl AND wait for travel time when you can just sprinkle some powder in your morning fire and shout to someone across the country. And there's no logic to any form of travel that isn't Apparition. There should be a bustling transport industry built entirely around people who provide side-along Apparition for a fee, but instead there's an entire government office wasting taxpayer money regulating broomsticks for transportation purposes. Like, a broom doesn't violate the Statute of Secrecy? Continuity does not exist for this woman.

Um Actually, not only is Newton referring to Kaiju and not the Jaegers, the statement is misleading because the reason Jaegers need two pilots is not exclusively due to size, but to the amount of neural process power required to control such complicated machines. Size is certainly a factor, but the amount of energy and raw data that needs to be transmitted through the Jaeger is too much for a single person to undergo, similar to how the more advanced a computer becomes, the more cores a processor would need to even the load.

@9:00 so from what I understand with the servants in the fate/stay night series, those are all "legendary" figures, people or entities that have been told via story format throughout the ages.... Essentially, they are thought forms of these epic stories taken physical form, and they are generally more powerful depending on how old/well known their story is, and has been passed down. The most relevant example is the dracula/vlad tepis servant, as he stayed in his "traditional" vlad form while within his home country, but he could (unwillingly) transform into the more powerful, but less dignified Dracula version when he was forced into doing so by his master (the masters/contestants are mages btw, which... Is kinda why any of that makes any sense whatsoever: they are ideas made manifest via some magical lore that doesn't matter in this explanation lol.) Tdlr, yes, essentially what the one lady said, but it's largely because Hamilton is a relatively new story. That said, if it were to become more prolifically told in the future.... Annoyingly enough, it kinda is completely possible to summon a Hamilton in the "present day" or any time that these wars would take place... Cuz it's about how prolifically their stories have been told in both the past and the future (I. E. Say In like the year 3000 onward a story about a fart.... Genie, or whatever, gets passed down for hundreds of years... This fart genie servant could then be summoned in the year 1950, because it has become an epic at some point in time.)
@execrisiscoreonearth2 жыл бұрын
I kinda don't want to "um actually" an old episode like this, for an obscure fact such as this, but technically speaking.... Alexander Hamilton is theoretically summonable, because of that past/future rule I mentioned in my original comment... 🤓 It's moreso dependant on if it becomes a story told as an epic.... Regardless of the truth of the story, that's the only criteria for an entity becoming a servant, that it has been passed down enough so to be a well known story, at some point in time.

Um actually... Chibi Usa didn't come from the 30th century to help the senshi, she came to get their help to save crystal millennium the first time. The second time she came back was because the Queen and King wanted her to train with the senshi. I'm not sure if this is too nit-picky, but the only time we see Usagi as an adult is when they travel to the 30th century, but as the protagonist she only ever reaches 16, so she's a teenager the whole show.

Um Actually the question category is incorrect due to the franchise being the Type-Moon franchise and the universe being called the Nasuverse after the author Nasu. Um Actually the Fate question is about Fate Grand Order because all those servants do not appear in Fate/Stay Night. Um Actually servants aren't just legendary historical figures but conceptual ones as well as seen by the Hassans which are from the Hashshashin from whom the word assassin comes from, or the servant known as Nursery Rhyme which is a manifestation of a book due to the feelings of a little girl who wanted a friend.
@Mr.Monacle3 жыл бұрын
Um, actually, the Hassans aren’t conceptual servants. They *are* where the word assassin comes from, which makes them by far the easiest servants to summon as the word “assassin” can act as a catalyst to summon one of the 19. And Nursery Rhyme *is* a conceptual servant, but she is the concept of children’s stories. She has her own history, which you described, but the actual concept she embodies is exactly what her name describes. And not that this matters but the only other conceptual servant in F/GO is Jack the Ripper, who is a conceptual curse borne of the sadness of all of the whore-children abandoned to die in Whitechapel in the 19th century.
@KnZ19403 жыл бұрын
@@Mr.Monacle Um actually if you want to quote the generic definition of Nursery Rhyme and not the Fate/Extra story then Nursery Rhyme by definition is the concept of any picture book given physical form due to the half formed dreams of the children of England.Also Jack is not a manifested curse but an amalgam of wraiths of aborted children who was given physical form once the number of aborted children reached 10000.

Umm actually Jorus C'baoth was absolutely a contemporary of Dooku as they were both Jedi masters before Dooku left. While there is no stories involving both, C'baoth was very close to Palpatine and had a similar role to Anakin relating to the relations between the Jedi and the senate for a bit. As such, he definitely would've had ample opportunity to meet Dooku before he left the Jedi order.

(This is all 100% canon to the fate universe). You could also trip people up by referring to Arthur, who is the male King Arthur who also exists within the fate multiverse and shows up in the prototype subseries
