Cool glad you all are safe. The channel islands look to be very adventuresome.

Thanks for sharing. So glad you guys made it back to your boat. I was a "lifeguard" at a water park lol ( lots of bloody noses and such ) can't imagine a rough water rescue like James described, So, Camille, you are such a rock star! Again, Cheers to you both! Happy New Year!!!

Brussels sprouts, oh my god !! Would have been intersting in the cabin a couple of hours later 😁😁, glad you got your dinghy back, its amazing how we tend to overestimate our swimming abilty, had a similar experience swimming against tidal flow some years ago, scary stuff ! Cheers for 2021 🍺🎉⛵🐶

Feel for you, only thing worse than going on deck and finding you're dingy up side down ,is not finding it there .(as I found out twice.). Now oars come aboard and two painters on dingy ....great sailing guys.

Been there. I think you'll find it, hopefully before some pirate does. At least you're not near the city, you got a better chance.

I’ll recommend a West Marine Watertender 9, a wide cathedral type hull 5 hp. Planes like a bass boat & rows much better than any inflatable. Plus, it’s unsinkable & cheap!

I think you guys did pretty well after loosing the dinghy. You didn’t let it spoil your trip. But I’m happy you got it back. Btw one of our dock mates actually carries a very small and cheap blow up boat because he once lost his dinghy. It kind of looks like something you would see in a pool, but it takes of very little space and might be good in an emergency. After what happened to you guys I’m thinking of getting one.

yeah we are buying a two person inflatable kayak that we will keep stowed in a lazarette and only inflate on occasion to test it as a back up so we NEVER have this situation happen again.

Sorry you couldn't find the dinghy and the other items lost with it.

Load your boat with good beer when you head south because it is hard to find down here 🍺

That really suks. But please contact the USCG so they don’t waste time searching for you if someone finds it and calls it in.

I’m stopping the video for a moment. I want to tell you I’m sorry for what you went through. Rather than bore you with hindsight. I want to complement your wife on how brave she is and capable. Dude she saved your life. My wife screams at the sign of a spider on the bathroom floor and nearly give me a heart attack. Props to you both. Love your videos. Thank you for sharing. ❤️⛵️
