The WorkerB Power Pack Motor System gives your Ultrafeed® Sewing Machine unbeatable power and control. The dial on the control box allows you to adjust your top end and low end sewing speed so you can sew at your comfort level. But there’s more! By regulating your pressure on the foot control pedal, you can sew as slow as 1 stitch/second with the WorkerB® Balance Wheel and 1/2 stitch/second with the Monster® II Balance Wheel. This level of slow speed control surpasses any sewing machine speed reducer on the market.

Please Note: The WorkerB Power Pack is designed to work on an inverter/generator of 400W or more of the Modified Sine Wave or Square Wave types. Pure (or Digital Synthesized Wave) inverters/generators can disrupt the “phase cutting” technology of the WorkerB since they hide high-frequency current in the waveform. Although the 100-230V WorkerB will work on 100-230V household power, it will only work with inverters/generators with an output of 100-120V.

We (my wife and I) recently purchased the LS-1 with Worker B. I'm in a wheelchair and have limited use of my legs. I sewed myself a backrest and did it all with my hand on the "foot" control. The lower speed allowed me to me able to still help guide the material with one hand while using the other on the pedal. I got great results because of that added lower speed control.

Something interesting is I wonder if a limb augmentation with like the fake 3d printed thumb that articulates by your electrical signals could be augmented to a simple variable speed control setup... Something I was thinking, but often we use limbs in tight conjunction and relay to get artificial limbs moving like a person, but you don't need legs or arms on you, you simply need to be able to control the system. So hooking it up to the body wit ha sensor feed back is pretty easy... You can use your eyes, to electrical feed back sensors, to a chest shirt you wear, where the pressure sensor is just a pedal on your chest, a direct mechanical button level. So many ways.. Systems of the stitching process is simple, but to allow one to have an easy augemtnation to its pedal system would be interesting. YOu could even make an entire sensory system, but.. voice apps today can control many things, the only problem with voice controls is noise, and shut off so emergency power off is always a oncsideration in design. Sewing machina hasn't really been advanced for about 100+ years.. in the public market, there are many many other systems that have commericalized the process, or industirlaied it ot produce in mass without aid. TEchnic Stitching so the sweat shops of china in the tech areas were converted to technic stitching where any human movement or acts can all be manipualted by a machine... anyways... somethign to think about, a different pedal design for peopel with limited mobility.. hmm

@@artemirrlazaris7406 A long reply but was worth reading. For my situation the trusty old technology worked perfectly. But I believe it would be nice to have a true option for those of us with disabilities. Thanks for the input.

The WorkerB is awesome. I added a servo motor to my machine and it performs as well, with a bit of experimenting. That said, I wish I had the money for this machine with the WorkerB.

Wait you added a servo motor instead of the worker b motor?

I always break my thread when the layers get to thick on the backwards movement if I don't go slow.. hmm...

This looks great, but am wondering why this isn't integrated into the base sewing machine. Can't imagine anyone not wanting to go slow at some point, so it seems like it should be a basic function of the machine. I've discovered that my LSZ Ultrafeed is virtually impossible to use in many cases where I need to go a bit slower, which is often. It's either not moving at all or going full speed, and I've grown to hate the foot pedal. Even my Mom's old, cheap home sewing machine can do better at slow speeds and it doesn't have a fancy add-on of any sort.

The WorkerB Power Pack is NEW and now comes on all Ultrafeed sewing machines. It took us years to prefect it and then produce enough of them to include them on all our New Ultrafeed Sewing Machines. No worries, you can buy the motor package separately and add it to your sewing machine, if you like.

it seems I've bought the last 220V LSZ model, do you have an adaptation to limit the foot pedal for a slow stitch? !~
