I needed cording in a hurry and none was available where I live in Missouri, so I bought some rope, probably way more expensive that it needs to be but I am wondering what you think about using it. It is a Nylon, Polyester and Polypropylene twisted rope, 1/4 inch quite strong.

Yes, I have used rope for piping on a few occasions, it works well.

@@SailriteDIY Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I'm flying by the seat of my pants here trying to make a couple inexpensive slipcovers for my barrel back accent chairs. It won't be perfect but they will look better than as my cat's scratching post. She only got to one of them but that's enough.

Great video ! Thank you ! Which cord would you suggest for *small genuine leather bags* ? Foam/ polyutharane / polypropylene etc? I would require the thinnest cord. What is the mm on your thinnest cord ?
