SPT v3.9.8 might’ve been the golden age. I’m sure modders will get back on the grind eventually, but all the OGs have been doing this for years at this point so I understand the burnout.

Swag+donuts is being updated. Someone took over and is currently working on rewrite/cleanup of it and will also be fixing other bugs like the issues we started seeing with boss spawns in 3.9.

Haha, I haven't really noticed any problems yet! Did a lot of testing last night and this morning and I think most of the bugs I'm seeing have to do with EfT itself, at least for the most part. The spawns actually seem great, I've been watching Dynamic Maps to check the bots come in and it's been fine so far. Show me watchu got!

This is definitely not a bad thing at all - I would say it’s great news for SAIN - nothing against Solarint, he has done amazing work, but I have the greatest of faith in Lacy, he has done brilliant work with Paul’s multiplayer mod, again, the greatest of respect to Paul too, great guy, amazing work, been following his for maybe years, but Lacyway has done amazing work with his building on that and taking it to a great place.

I unknowingly started playing SPT and FIKA with friends right as 3.10 dropped. Never played EFT Live before this, nor do I really intend on being 9-5 PMC bait. Super grateful about SAIN already being on 3.10 despite any issues it may have (I can't tell if there's any honestly) and Swagnut I can live without I suppose. Not going to downgrade to earlier versions either.

@@metalc0readd1ct thats the hard part and why i dont want to upgrade. you need the exact EFT files with the exact version required for the version on SPT. The only way I understand is to pirate an exact version of EFT that is required for 3.9, and then find the 3.9 installer

Lacyway also said that he will not fix old bugs with SAIN just port the project to 3.10 and fix any bugs which will be caused by that. So do not expect new features.

I haven't played SPT as much as I used too (GAMMA and S2), but I do wish SPT devs would leave a version to rollback to public for mod compatibility. I'm lucky in that I decided to randomly update from 3.8.0 to 3.9.8 so I have both builds still, just sucks I can never get rid of them for storage reasons unless I'm cool with never seeing them again.

I'm afraid that you must relies on pirated content for that. Even the old 3.9.8 pirated content (from that rin ru website) begins to slowly dying because of too many dead links and almost zero seeds torrent.

This is understandable and I guess I'll stick with 3.9.8. BSG's AI and spawn system is the biggest concern of Tarkov and I cannot enjoy it without those two mods.

I can support one of those. But to be very honest, even though I love them, supporting one of them can cost me my second job. So, I want to see if people are willing to donate for this work. I don't know if SPT team itself allows that, which I highly doubt because of BSG. I know so many other devs are willing to do the same but are afraid/shy to ask this question.

I installed SPT and modded it for the second time (the first was a test, it worked poorly and I uninstalled it until I decided to try it again) I ordered the mods wrong and I wanted to do a clean installation (delete everything to reinstall), when I went to return to install SPT the next day they had updated the game and I was left without the possibility of modifying it again since the authors delete the previous versions of SPT.... my luck... now I don't know what to do, the realism mod, SAIN and Swag+Donuts are the basis of what I want from the game

It’s worth playing 3.10 for a while before you start lamenting the lack of any particular mods. The core functionality has changed to be based on BSG’s PvE mode instead of Offline mode. Whereas SPT 3.9 was borderline unplayable without mods, 3.10 unmodded is a lot more of a lively, live feeling experience for me so far. You’re unlikely to need eg. Questing Bots or Looting Bots. I was enjoying the latest SAIN on 3.9.8 and, again, it seems less necessary now in 3.10

tarkov live or SPT, the AI is complete garbage. SAIN AI is a stroke of guinness. It completely transforms the game in a way that i cant play tarky without his mod!

Glad I decided to stay on 3.9, no intention of going to 3.10 as it didn't have anything ground breaking. Some people will always have FOMO and want the latest but sometimes it's best not to be on that cutting edge. However, if you upload a file in zip format to ChatGTP it can assist on doing what you want with the code inside.

not really FOMO. i played live and like the changes but not the hackers. liked the new factory and the new weapons and balancing.. i have both 3.9 and 3.10 and ive been playing 3.10 mostly testing. when the new unity push comes at the begining of the year ill be right there with it trying out the new stuff. being on the cutting edge is where all the excitment is. someone needs to push the envelope.

is 3.10 horrible performance for anyone else? 9800x3d and 4080 super and getting like 60 fps and horrible stutters even with performance mod and declutter and other stuff. Horrible time so far. I can play live with over 150 fps
