Such a great purchase! I have had this bag on my wish list for quite some time and thought I wanted the smaller size but the more videos I have been watching on KZbin I think it's the large size for me! I have two other Saint Laurent bags and both of them came with beautiful boxes and black tissue all packaged really nicely I did however purchase both my bags from the actual Boutique 🖤

They don't have the original ysl good quality black box as well. :( I really hope they can provide the nice package. And, even this bag is lambskin, I found it pretty scratch resistent unlike the chanel lambskin. xoxo

+lylarush I think the diorama is gorgeous but too similar to the Chanel boy for me. I think the YSL college may slouch a little at the corners but I like that - depends on what you're looking for :)

hi elle. great video. i am researching this bag at the moment and just wondering what you think of buying it in the cream colour would it be a nightmare to keep clean or would it get grubby easily because that would really put me off. i would actually consider any colour other than black but i can only locate cream or black in europe. many thanks

+Saerllo Lolo I think the cream would be gorgeous and won't be too troublesome as long as you don't let it run against your jeans which can definitively transfer. Have you tried looking for light grey? It's also really pretty

Hi Elle, My question- Just got my medium black LouLou in the mail from Nordstrom' and the bag has creases in the leather from the bottom corner up into about 6 of the chevrons. It runs diagonally up towards the gold YSL hardware, though it's not a deep crease it is noticeable. Is that normal? I know it will happen over time but I just un-bagged it. Can you let me know or any one who should read this; have any thoughts?

I don’t believe that’s normal - the actual texture of the leather is lightly wrinkled but not creased. Over time it has relaxed more but wasn’t as you describe when purchased. Xx

@@ElleFlorence, Thank You so much for your reply. I ended up calling Nordstrom and they said I should just send it back and they will in turn send another LouLou in "promised" perfect condition. Crossing my fingers bag #2 arrives in top condition. Your answer to my question has helped me to follow my gut instinct and helps to reinforce my decision to send LouLou back. When spending over $2000.00 on a bag, I feel it should be right. I get to make it wrinkle, relax etc.... not the store it came from (lol), XX Thanks again!!!!
