I have the toy puffer (black with black hardware) and the small puffer (white with silver hardware), I bought a small metal clip that I use on my toy puffer to hook the chains together on the inside of the bag. Using that I can shorten the straps to whatever length I choose. I’ve found that works great for me.

It is my first designer bag and was a little bit unsure about the puffiness but I have to say that since I saw it I fall in love with it. It goes with my style very well (usually leggings, sneakers and Jean jacket)

I have the toy loulou black with gold hardware I can carry my wallet too , cellphone and key case. And the length of the shoulder handle is just fit me so well even though I'm not so tall. Just perfectly love it 🥰

Hi Amie. Great video. I use a "chain buckle" on the Toy Puffer to shorten the chain to a shoulder bag length for added versatility. I couldn't figure out how to remove the strap either.

There is a way to make the toy puffer a "over the shoulder bag"! You just slightly tie the chain inside the bag and adjust the length for "over the shoulder". I think you'd love trying it this way! 🥰

Hi Aime! Since you have both style bags, which do you prefer: the small (middle sized) YSL puffer bag or the Louis Vuitton Croisette bag? I love both bags but originally have been wanting the Croisette. I’ve seen both in the stores and am torn because I really only want to purchase one bag. I know the Croisette has been around a while and the puffer a few years. I tend to prefer more structured bags with top handles. Also the Croisette has the removable strap too. It’s also less pricy 😅. Please help!

Very informative video!! TFS! ❤️ also Amazon sells metal buckles to shorten your chain strap. They can be very useful in shortening your chain on the toy Lou Lou to convert into a shorter crossbody or a clutch by only leaving the top handle exposed, just leave it laying on top of the flap and clip the excess chain.

This is THE best comparison video ! I got the small in the beige with gold hardware like yours , but I like the look of the mini. It just doesn’t fit as much. The small fits everything I need but it looks bigger than thought I could fit even more. I hv not used it as much because I’m usual very casual n I feel I hv otter better casual bag options. I could so see you wear the toy Loulou with summer dresses ! It looks amazing with your floral blouse in those sunset colors ! I wonder it you can pull the strap in almost fully so that only the leather strap Is “out” as a sort of top handle .. could you tie your chain on the inside with a little ribbon so that you can wear it as a top handle clutch ?

Yes...a good video. Not many people have all the 3 sizes, am interested in the Mini or maybe the small one and also wanted to know about the wear and tear and color transfer. I have the beige. One time i noticed a bit colour transfer from my jeans when it pouring with rain but it disappeared when it dried up.

Thank you for this video! SL is my absolute favorite line with regard to versatility (classic or trendy) and price point. This comparison was great! I’m petite so you’ve given me some things to think about. I had to laugh when you said the toy red one reminded you of Christmas. I have the “small” (middle size) puffer in cream and it just looks HUGE. I feel like a snow queen. I immediately regretted not getting beige in that size then later getting cream in the smaller size. But the cream was calling to me. 😂 I still love it. The only thing I personally feel I don’t care for about this bag line is that the interior space in relation to the outer dimensions are just so disproportionate. I’d love to get the medium for the interior space but I’d look silly at 5’1 with a massive bag. So for my larger carry-all, shopper style, I go for the Kurt Geiger Violet unstructured shopper instead. And the rest of my attempted coolness goes to Saint Laurent. ☺️❤️

I originally had the toy puffer in Blanc vintage w/ s/h and it was too small for me. I exchanged it for the small puffer in Rouge Opium and it was the perfect size. I have no problem wearing it any time of year because I usually wear plain black or neutral outfits. I love the size so much I bought it again in Blanc Vintage w/ g/h during the recent Farfetch sale.

I have the toy in beige and all black in calf leather. I especially like the black in calf leather because it is soo durable. It is a bit more expensive but so worth the money. Since i own the puffers, i hardly use my Chanels and LV’s anymore because puffers are so light and easy to access

I have not considered one of these before as I am not a fan of the whole puffer trend, especially the huge coats that look like astronaut suits, but I do really like your medium one. The colour is so beautiful and it’s a really good size. This is especially good as I can’t find any other YSL bag that is the right size for me. On your Instagram it looks like you are already filming a Chanel collection. I am so looking forward to that. Something else that would be very interesting is your favourite contemporary brand bags.

After 2 years having the medium puffer I do not reach for it often It is gorgeous but the magnetic snap keeps coming open, it is too heavy, it looks too big to wear crossbody but doesn’t easily stay on my shoulder.
