Love these reviews Amie! I have three of your five bags. I wasn’t a fan of the YSL Loulou bag due to its very hard opening clasps but I’ve gotten used to it now and it doesn’t bother me as much. Hands down by far my favorite is the Chanel 19 bag! I have them in black and red!

I do think Valentino bags are underrated. I have a Rockstar flap in metallic gold and it's a really well made bag and I love the design of hand held handle and detachable chain . Buying in metallic has limited its use for me but in plain leather I think these are good alternatives for the Chanel flap given the vastly different price points.

New sub! Enjoying all your videos, binging lol. I’m glad you included the jumbo in the mid size. I have the 2.55 reissue 224 in black, medium beige Clair, and just got the jumbo black caviar. I’ve always wanted the jumbo and just pulled the trigger with the crazy prices before it got out of reach. I never found it as a large bag. I feel like the medium is quite small and the jumbo is good for everyday!

I love all of your bags and your bag reviews. I currently own several YSL bags including a gray toy Lou Lou, which I love, but this is my only gray bag, and I find that I don't use it as much as I would like to. I think it's because I'm used to wearing more brown, tan and beige bags. Would you consider showing how you style some of your gray bags on any of your future videos.

This was so enjoyable and helpful. The clear winner for me is the Jumbo although after a long time of not being sure about it the Small Loulou is growing on me, especially in that beautiful beige with gold hardware. Another one of these on large bags would be really good. You did one on totes but it was so long ago it would probably be very different now.

Oh I think the coco handle is beautiful! It is a more formal style though and for me at that price point, I'd just rather go for a classic flap (which I think is also more on the formal side!). I'm not much of a top handle girl though so that definitely plays into it too :)

I like the Valentino rock stud but I already have the Chanel 19 and I can’t justify myself of having something similar style with a not so cheap price tag. For now I just admire the beauty by far for the Valentino rock stud but this bag is just so tempting with colour.

@@ChaseAmie Oh yes, I was afraid because I ordered from Valentino site and red can be difficult . I was concerned that it may look more orange-like, but it worked out just perfectly! The color was deep - deep saturated juicy ( bluish ) red, with no orange tint at all!

First of all, thanks for such a wonderfully detailed comparison! I've been tempted to get the Valentino Roman Stud bag everytime I see it go on sale. But I've always wondered if the chains might bite into your shoulder, since there are no leather straps. Do you feel the chains are comfortable, even after a long day of use? :)

Great collection! My current favourite is the puffer. I have 2 (beige in lamb and all black in calf) and totally agree about the weight. It is soo light and beautiful made. Especially the calf skin is very durable and i think they transfer well from day to night. I wear my Chanel and LV less now and i also cannot justify current chanel pricing although i love your grey 19!

Love your review, Amie. I’m so torn between the dark beige and blanc vintage color for the classic loulou small bag. Would like to hear your thoughts since you owned both colors. Is it more difficult to wear the blanc vintage compare to the dark beige? Do I need to baby the V blanc one or can I use it care-freely? What about color transfer? I’m very much a dark denim and black jeans person, also a chambray dress lover. I have many camel , light/dark grey blazers and coats. Please help! Your opinions are very much appreciated. Xo France

Depends if you're planning on wearing as a crossbody or not. For me, I tend to wear these bags as shoulder bags so colour transfer isn't as much of an issue. Love both colours but I would probably say white styles are a little more versatile - but there isn't much in it. Both are great neutrals! :D

Really not! Definitely what's pleasantly surprised me most about grey shades. I avoided them for years but I actually find they go beautifully with denim, navy, pinks, blacks, whites etc! Probably more one if you dress in neutral colours rather than super bright shades though :)

Right!? The roman stud is really pricey for what it is, that has been putting me off buying it... plus the overall shape of the bag seems abit "out of shape", prob due to the softer/puffy leather, unlike their Rockstud Spike shoulder bag, which has a well made rectangular shape. On the other hand, the Chanel 19, is soft and puffy, but has a well made overall rectangular shape.
