He was no peacemaker. He was the brother in law of Dermot Mc Murrough and as such was supporting the Norman side. By appearing to be neutral between the aggressors and the native Irish in fact he was just helping his brother in law's cause.

@agneshouessou9765 well I recognise that. And I accept it. But the facts remain the facts. And he needs a lesson in patriotism. I was never taught in school who his brother in law was. Or his son in law. It would have been better to tell the full story. Truth matters....right?
