Don't mean to be negative but Spanish & South African ????? Antillean Creole is a mixture of French, African (mainly West African as this is where most of the slaves came from) and Carib words with maybe some English. This man is a bit confusing, 'bonjour' is French not English and 'dubut' is stop no matter whether you are coming or going. I don't speak fluent Creole but I know the basics and the history.
@oliviaberlouis

Bo Belle creole is my first language and he made a mistake about saying bonjour is english instead of saying french (the same way i confuse my 2nd and 3rd language), but yes it is also a mixture of south african, spanish/portugese (where slavery of African people first took place, but i'm sure you knew from history)

WEST african languages. first of all , south african is not a FUCKING language. second of all, any of the African languages spoken in SA: Zulu, Xhosa, etc, are not even RELATED to any of the languages that creole is based on. They are not even part of the same language family. Creole is a mixture of mainly French and a number of different West African dialects. For example from Dakar, Senegal (West Africa) to Johannesburg, South Africa, it is 10 700 km, that is 8 hours by plane. To give you a little perspective. ppl educate yourselves, pls

Misrepresentation the language is based off of the French language .... no South African or Spanish ... This used to be colonised by the French for over 100 years before the British ruined it .

@@Lrxxx321 The Catalan language is very similar to french ,that I know and in that aspect there maybe some similarities to French Creole. My point is that French Creole is based off of the French Language and Saint Lucia is former french colony . Another thing is that Saint Lucians need to stop mixing english words in creole Especially the younger generations .. find out what the french word is and use it instead to preserve that as just being of french and nothing else . Listen to radio from Martinique and so on !

@@Lrxxx321 Speaking Creole without mixing in english words in is possible ! People are just lazy and that is destroying something that we should cherish !. Every person from Saint Lucia should be able to speak Creole without any reservations , some families have a mindset that if you speak creole you are illiterate and your english will suffer ? we are bilingual . We need to fix creole use french words when you don't know the creole word for what you want to say. Listen to radio from Martinique , Haiti, Guyane FR. and so on with no reservations or objections .

" Sa'w ka fe" would be more like what are you doing or real in haiti it would be what do you believe you can do or what like what's on your chest,. Like if you are about to fight someone. I listen to all them Creoles and all of them are secondary languages to them but it is a primary language to us haitians, another word we are the king of this shit. Lol.

25 But because of the sin and because of the churches, know that the world will go from suffering to suffering. And it shall come to pass that a man will not be able to shake hands with his brother or his best friend for fear of being contaminated with the disease. People shall walk without touching one another. Schools will be closed and you will hear people say: "I'm afraid of taking the underground or the bus, I am afraid of being contaminated.” You see? The righteous one will say to the wicked one: "Go and show off your nudity on the beach!" and the wicked one will tell him: "I won’t!". You see? [Kc.141v49] #ProphetKacouPhilippe
