In my country, we celebrate St. barbara, we make delicious meal in that day also called "barbara", which contains the things that it is believed that she was feeding the birds that came to her when she was in her jail in the tower, in lebanon (I am Jordanian), lebanese do the same but their children were customes (good customes, unlike the devlish things in halloween). In my country we celebrate also St.Nicholas, but the most saint in my country we adore is Saint George, who has many miraculous places in my country where he asked himself to make sanctuary in these places, so people would get healed and what they ask for.

I'm Baptist, but when my sister and I were young (elementary/middle school) we read about St Lucia's tradition in the Kirsten American Girl book, so she sewed a white gown, we made a wreath for my head, and we surprised our parents by doing it!

I'm currently a RCIA student I have no idea how to be a Catholic. I don't know many saints, feast days or traditions. Come Easter vigil I will be the only Catholic in my family. I come from a protestant family your videos have helped me learn a lot about the faith in so many ways. Thank you for taking the time to share your faith with baby Catholics like me.♥️ I have a Catholic friend who's been helping me through RCIA and she always texts me when it's saint's feast day, and I never know who she's talking about I definitely need to buy books about the saints and start learning about them

@@ACatholicMomsLife Most definitely! He was a motorcycle officer. But was in an unmarked unit. He was 54, and just started his shift at 3. The 3 - 11 shift. The accident happened at 3:30. A 16 year old with only a permit. And no licensed driver with him as the law permits. He was driving a BMW not just any BMW the top of the line model $150,000 vehicle. Don't 80 miles an hour in a 30 mile an hour road. He lost control, and destroyed the police car. The 16 year old is himself in critical condition. If that's not enough for the police officers family. He was due to retire in August of 2023. I know I'm not putting you out when I ask you to say a little prayer for him. Frank! I myself was born and raised in Yonkers. The only reason I was there is because I bought a house in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. But was staying with my Sister in New Jersey. I had the closing in October. The 25th to be exact. But my Sister lost her Son. My Nephew and godson Michael passed away a year ago on December 5th. So we had a Memorial for him. I love New York winters. Imagine a guy who can't stand the heat moving to South Carolina? Anyhow, thank you for your reply and your prayer in advance. Have the happiest of Holidays with your amazing family, and a great New Year ahead. And please be careful if you are traveling. Especially now. The Christmas parties are about to kick in. It's a Joyful time. But not everyone is so careful with drinking and driving. Again thank you! God bless you and your family. 🙏 And also Happy Holiday! 🧑‍🎄🎄⛄
