I never knew him personally. But he came to my dream one evening when I was suffering from terrible headache and had cried a lot. I have not been in Agios Oros. I truly want to go to his grave. I love the old man. Praise the Lord for such saints. Thank you Agie for helping me.

His grave is located in the monastery that he helped build in Souroti near the city of Thessaloniki. I had the joy of visiting it last summer with my family, the number of pilgrims I saw there was incredible, we waited for more than 2 hours in line to be able to see his grave, even though our bus was the second to enter the monastery after it opened. I would gladly visit it again.

You would be surprised to learn how many Orthodox/Conservative Roman Catholic priests there are. They will not have anything to do with heretical sects, such as Protestants, Lutherans, etc. This heretical stuff needs to stop, it is watering down the true meaning of the true Christ. All this modernization, and the people are trying to create God by their ways now. Really? The people should try to create themselves to God's way, not vice versa.

+brecans 😅 when i went to mont Athos there are lot of monasteries I saw a lot of cats outside in their gardens they were feeding them but you wouldn't t see monks touching or having them in their hands ..and then I read I don t remember where..that this has a reason ..and the reason is that in spiritual and not only..life we have to be kind and love the animals but not how can me say ..too much ?its not good to touch them all the time or treat them like humans ..because they "lower" our energy ..elder Paisios has had lot of different wild animals and some of them were eating from his hand !but he didn't t have a cat or a dog around his chest like many people do 😉 however you know what you remind me me you remind me those people who are looking the tree and loose the entire forest !!!! 😅
