@@funnyvalentinetimelost9418 originally the swastika is a symbol used in a lot of asian religion like Taoism/Buddhism and Hinduism. Shaka is based on Buddha, hence the usage. But the swastika has long been used in a lot of Asian culture (and some African culture as well if I’m not mistaken, don’t remember exactly) Nowadays, especially in western country it is associated with N***, but swastika doesn’t belong to them. Some Japanese series still use them regularly at least in the manga (like Neji from Naruto, he has a seal on his head in the form of swastika, but the anime sensored it to just be an X instead, because some countries will ban it otherwise)

Shaka is based on a Buddha, hence the usage. You know who appropriated it for his own twisted idea, which is why in the west it is heavily associated with it. But in Asia it still is regularly in use in some countries like China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka etc.
