Sa1nt's Unbreakable slim stretch jeans are constructed from a Dyneema, cotton and elastane mix. The result is a super comfortable, single layer jean with a bit of stretch and a lot of abrasion resistance. Dyneema fibres are 15 times stronger than steel yet so light they float on water. They vastly outperform aramid fibres found in many protective motorcycle garments and can be woven into a single layer, making them way easier to live with and more comfortable to wear. The Unbreakable stretch jeans have a 25% Dyneema content - more than enough for some spirited riding in and around town. Plus with the addition of pockets for armour in the knees and hips, you can seriously upgrade these jeans to provide impact protection. We highly recommend D3O’s Ghost armour which fits these jeans perfectly and is so slim and flexible you’ll barely notice it’s there, until you need it! The Unbreakable Slim look and feel so much like a regular pair of jeans, we've ended up wearing ours all the time, even on the rare days we weren't touching our bikes.

I bought my Saint Jeans with armoring here in Australia about 2.5 years ago. (Cost me $400 AUD) I find then to be incredibly comfortable (even with the armor in place) Last year I did a 3,500KM (2,175 miles) road trip over 2 weeks. They were only jeans/riding pants I took with me. Only washed then once on the trip. After 2.5 years the stitching is still perfect everywhere and the zipper is still smooth as silk. Expensive ... yes, but a true quality product that has a ton of style and protection.

Nice review. Spidi J-Dyneema come in at a lower price point ($350) and include knee and hip armor. I have no experience with either.

it's not the ultimate single layer jeans, the Rokker Rokkertech is because it has super-nice washes.

You’re mistaking aesthetics with armor quality riding jeans, make no mistake I’m not liking @saint.cc prices but they are putting out a well designed modern tailored riding jeans made with technical fabrics (Dyneema).

It depends which you are referring to, but the main advantage is the wearability compared to something with more than one layer
