What a wonderful idea. You keep them safe. Keep everyone’s spirits lifted. Help when it’s a really tough day. Sadly, hospitals can be very unsafe places these days.

Great to see you both work together, and hear about his training routine, your family's live for Athos, too! So nice to know. 🙏🏼❤️🐾

Wow. St. Agnes IS leading the way in this regard. Athos is a police officer. I wonder if you would really let him do what he is trained to do if something were to happen in that hospital. I wonder if the hospital staff has been trained to do what THEY SHOULD DO in case of an attack of any kind. SCHOOLS, GOVERNMENT OFFICES, COURTHOUSES, AND HOSPITALS SHOULD HAVE BULLET-PROOF LOCKING WING OR HALL DOORS THAT CAN BE ACTIVATED TO CLOSE AND SEAL OFF MOST OF THE BUILDING AND, AT THE SAME TIME, CONTAIN THE THREAT. We can't pretend this is America of 50 years ago. Anerica needs to wake up.

He needs to be living inside the house with the handler

Not necessarily. German Shepherd hybrids and Malinois love to be cool or cold..my GS stops everywhere there is shady snow, lays down on his belly, shoves his snout under the snow and plows forward smelling everything..my boy lives inside, but I think he’d be totally happy outdoors all the time..they are “double-coated,” well protected against both cold and heat. The handler spends virtually every waking minute with him, he doesn’t have to sleep with the dog as well.
