Yeah Pete Carmichael is a prime example of watching someone up close and personal and learning a lot

Saints were a Top 10 offense last season and Derek Carr was an MVP candidate in 2016, he finished 3rd with 6 1st place MVP votes. These are what people call FACTS.

I feel like Pete just called plays but didn't understand why, or how to set up the players. Instead of attacking defenses with a plan, there should be a reason every player runs a particular route, matching up players with mismatches where every time they line up they knew what they wanted to do and why, and the players should understand this as well. Anybody can call plays, but there's a difference in setting up plays and attacking defenses with a scheme, rather that just calling off plays over the headset and hoping they work

Maybe that style of offense doesn’t work anymore.. broncos offense wasn’t too hot either

You said you don't think the Saints will be a top 10 offense, they were 9th in points per game and 14 in yards per game with what you think was a terrible OC and QB. If Kubiak can't move us up the ladder from that, then why is he here. They should easily be top 7 or 8 offense and maybe even top 5 in certain categories.

@@mikehicks7135 I’m not saying dc is the future clearly he isn’t but when ppl say this team doesn’t have the talent I just want them to clarify and explain to why they don’t believe that it’s no team other then San Fran that has 4 all pro on offense but it’s a ton of teams across the league that runs that Shanahan system that has success example Houston is one of them you have the Miami of the world but I truly believe if the running game can approve and if we have structure this offense can be pretty good and efficient

I think the biggest thing you saw out of the 49ers receivers is how good they were executing blocking on the run or their route running. I don’t think deebo, BA, and Jennings were fast but they were deadly because they can catch, and get open when there were no openings.
