But seriously though, Saitama is easily the FASTEST hero in the series with his speed and reflexes, even greater than Blast himself. And yet, gets his @ss handed to him every time he plays King at video games. IE: King has achieved a level of speed and reflex not even Saitama can match, and that's genuinely impressive!!! SERIOUSLY, he beat the BEST FIGHTERS IN THE WORLD USING VR EQUIPMENT....using nothing but an analog controller... If the others had only known it was King that beat them, then they would have accepted their defeat instead of obsessing over it.

I mean if we’re being real for a second, that’s probably less of Saitama’s fault that he wasn’t fast enough, but rather the game itself is not fast enough to handle his much faster inputs. If he slams an attack button as fast as possible, he’s still just gonna be limited to how fast the characters themselves can attack. If he moves with lightning quick reflexes, the characters in the game are still gonna move at the same speed. It might be why he’s so frustrated to be honest. He could likely see and interpret every move King does, but he cannot control the characters well enough to do anything about it.

If Saitama hits the controller too fast he will break it. The more he gets flustered, the harder it is to control his power. King can abuse this by using strategy and mix-ups in the fighting game. With King's luck, he's probably so good at video games because he has mastered Oki Tools in all fighting games, which is like micro-scale Rock-Paper-Scissors. We've seen with Bang that Saitama is bad at psychological mix-up games, so it makes sense that King always comes out ahead, even when he's not physically faster than Saitama. Who needs speed when you can predict your enemy's input?

I think King is not anywhere near what people think. He is very lucky, and it seems to be a power (it hasn't been confirmed has it?). But for Saitama to be who he is, Kings power wouldn't work. He is practically outside of the universe. King if he was lucky wouldn't be in danger. The reason he is, is that he got an easy career out of it - that's the luck. Saitama was already going to be there and killing those monsters, Kings luck got him into place to get an easy ride. His luck wasn't him being there by accident and in danger, then getting saved luckily.
