The hero association has only been around for 3 years at the most. It was indirectly started after Saitama saved that kid with the chin from Crablante. They reference how the kids father started the association after a hero saved his kid and the kid was the weird chin kid. Since Saitama only started as a hero 3 years ago the association has only been around for 3 years. Blast as a hero has been around much longer though

Damn blast is like a better versions of every single hero in every single hero's tale. Gravity fist is not unlike what Tsunade does when she manipulates her chakra to power up her punches. I will not be surprised if he has his own chibaku tensei with his gravity abilities. One Punch Man uses other animé character clones as part of the story telling all the time Boro was a generic Dragonball clone for example.

Yeah the power levels in this series are very unmeasurable. For example, half way through this monster arc we thought Super black shine was one of the strongest S heroes since he could defeat most higher demons / lower dragons with 0 effort. His body was absolutely un penetrable, and he seemed extremely fast as well. But then suddenly gums acid started to melt him right away, while the acid had absolutely ZERO effect on gold sperm, who would continue and become even stronger with platinum sperm. But our Flashy flash who's only 13th S class would match platinum sperm and awakened garou for a good while. Not to mention he even matched them equally in speed.

Garou's shockwave tectonic shift has weakened the seals and allowed god to directly interact with Garou whether he chooses to or not. Hey, I just wanted to see if this theory makes sense? So, they never saw Blast until peering into that hole, right? And then nothing was mentioned again about it, and nothing questioned. If that's right, why? Isn't it possible that blast is another avatar of this god who managed to shake free of its shackles? I mean, how else would he have the exact same ability to have a general sense of the nature of all things? And, if so, wouldn't it be possible that he may be fearful of a god who he understands personally and has made it his mission to exempt them from the knowledge he has gained simply by being tricked himself in some way? I mean, I'd be resentful as hell if I got fooled into servitude, pledging obedience to a god I never wished for too. Ultimately, this would mean that Blast can help humanity, but it would also make sense why he says not to expect a hero to save anyone. Not when he's the only hero who would unwillingly become the villain if anything threatens said God. Edit: please add upon this theory. My theory is that God wants to be the only being that can bestow true power. Saitama's training to such an extreme level to break his limiter goes against that very same idea, as it shows that humans (or monsters for that matter) can gain true power without him after all Saitama was a regular guy. All the other Heroes most likely had their gifts bestowed by God at birth. I think blast is letting other heroes do the job instead of him all alone is also because he wants other to develop their strength just like him. We can see the example of this is Saitama, and the main reason blast wants this is because he wants to recruit them to fight along him against "God" (whatever it's). Another reason could be because blast doesn't want to overshadow other heroes. Otherwise, they will feel the need help to get stronger in a short time. This could attracts god just like both garou and tatsumaki tempted by god. Getting stronger slowly, consistently and persistently is good way unlike taking shortcuts just like garou. note: this is just my theory.

My assumption about Blast is that he is operating as such a fundamentally different level of power that Earth's issues, outside of a God-level threat, don't warrant him to interfere and drop his potentially cosmic level endeavors. Kind of like an Avenger dropping a cosmic level conflict with Thanos or Mephistopheles to instead interfere with a random Police Officer's domestic abuse investigation. It's just not simply time he can sacrifice for trivial things (that could potentially be handled by the Hero's association on their own) when he could be focusing on something that would outright throw the Universe into a sped up entropic and/or dystopian state.

I think that blast accepted power from god however he decided to use it for mankind instead of their destruction. God probably saw a lot of potential in him and invested a lot and when he saw that blast betrayed him, he was then pissed about it. And since blast manages to get in his way of transferring power from the cubes, it must have infuriated him the more... What do you guys think?? Are there more apostles that are yet to be discovered and if so, how strong are they compared to blast's team??

Actually blast tried to lock garou in an infinite loop. Look at the portal and the punch it kept getting closer after each punch until it was close enough for him to seal garou to infinity but garou already mastered the flow of everything in the universe and understood how to break away.. I dont think even saitama could dodge or break out from it once he is caught
