Vegito Meets Gogeta | Dragon Ball: Raging Blast

I love how this game both addresses the power of both forms and their biggest weaknesses. Fusion has incredible power, but has a time limit. Meanwhile the Potara doesn't have the duration weakness, but is irreversible. I also like how they address how awkward Vegito's family life would be now that he's fused. Always nice to see the action and slice of life blend together.

Actually DBS showed that Potara is now reversible and has a limit based on energy exertion.

@@BushidoRyuactually Gogeta looks more like Vegeta, Vegito more resembles Goku, look at hairline for instance, plus after Super Brolly movie, base for Gogeta is a spitting image of Vegeta plus one single bang, the fact that Vegito has two makes him resemble Goku that much more. They both have taller bodies probably because goku is a taller bulkier (than Vegeta), fusion dance has its own clothes so doesn’t matter for Gogeta but Vegito wears a Gi similar to Goku just with Vegitas Boots and Gloves.

It's the game that got me into Dragon Ball Z, I love it so much. It's my favorite DBZ game of all time without a doubt.

Ah the glory days of the old games. Where what ifs like these were possible. I hope one day in the future we get a game with a story that has them meet again in their blue forms. Maybe they reference this moment here in a way Goku did saying "It was a raging blast training with you"

Yeah the what ifs are without a doubt my favorite aspect when it comes to dbz games. I still remember in budokai tenkaichi 3 where you fight frieza and king cold as devilman or kid goku and eighter vs android 16. I can only wonder what’ll happen with the budokai tenkaichi gamw

Man do I hate that retcon. It turned Vegito's tactical genius into a mere coincidence and completely erased what made the Potara special. They should've just gave the Potara a new weakness that Zamasu could have exploited to make Vegito unfuse instead of this 1 hour BS. Perhaps something about being split in half or being exposed to a certain type of energy forcing them to unfuse. That would keep the Potara special without causing writing issues.

2:30 Kid Trunks: *"I heard once you fuse with the Potora Earrings, you can never go back to normal!"* Well that's not the Case anymore because the Potora Earrings got Retconned in "Dragon Ball Super" so it acts like a regular time limit Fusion albeit 1 Hour, however only those who are granted the Title of "Supreme Kai" can be Fused with the Potora permanently forever.

it’s always been like that, the reason why people like you exists is due to the anime not giving proper explanation on how it works. it only works forever if it’s fusion of kais or gods, for mortals it has 1 hour. also too much excess power leads to being defused which is how he got defused in super due to using imperfect ssb.
