Almost of every pundit has highlighted just how poor we have been in the main, and that we have had such an easy run to the final. That's just being objective. But if he wins it, it doesnt mean anything. As fans we think we have good enough players to dominate teams like Slovakia and we are bored watching the way he sets up the team. Getting to the final hasnt changed that. We are excited to be in the final but its been a real chore watching this team at times

Nah you’ve just demonstrated your lack of respect for other countries , an argument can be made for less risk taking football in the early stages of a tournament. Tournaments are littered with the failure of teams who start fast , “ make a statement “ then burn out. Let me help you this century there's Brazil 2002, Spain 2008 and 2012Euros ( Notice I didn't say 2010 WC, they lost their opening match to Switzerland and won all their other matches 1-0, except Honduras they won 2-0, and they played against Paraguay, Chile etc) and Germany 2014 and maybe Argentina 2022 that's it! All the other winners have been solid and pragmatic teams first. Other nations had their golden generations at the same time: A. Brazil 2002 B. 2004- Portugal/France/Czech Republic and Netherlands were all better while Greece won the tournament. Sweden were at least on par with England while Italy, despite poor performance that tournament (even though cheated out without losing a game) were about to enter their prime. C. 2006- that Italy squad was ridiculously stacked, France arguably better 1-11 although not as deep as Italy's squad and had an inferior manager. Germany's resurgence began that tournament while Brazil were the great under-achievers. Portugal were in their golden generation's final throes, reaching the SF while Argentina introduced Messi to the World. All better than England. D. 2008- Mcclaren failed to qualify for the Euros and he gets way too much leeway for that. Spain won it, Germany were beaten finalists despite being in transition while the Dutch lit up that tournament. E. 2010- Spain continued their ascent to the top of world football. Germany played the best football at the tournament, falling short due to inexperience. Holland got to the final, defeating Brazil and Uruguay along the way. International football is incredibly low at the moment by comparison

I think the key for England is Foden. He has had a rubbish tourney so far - 6 games - 0 goals and 0 assists. He needs to find his place in the formation. He sort of did better against netherlands. There is no room for complacency and he and Bellingham in particular need to be at their full best, give england the control in midfield

Carragher is quite spot on for Trippier. Shaw isn't fit yet. That could well be the difference. However we must start as we did against Holland. Spain and Holland aren't that dissimilar TBF. Spain are better but they'll give you space. Georgia caused them some issues so did both Germany and France. It's just that Spain have been very good going forward. I'm hoping for a goal feast.
