Mainly focus on compound lifts , start doing deadlifts squats bench overhead press barbell rows and also incorporate rdls sldls and other accessory movements, yes ppl would help you hit the muscle group twice a week but tbh brosplit isn't bad as long as you do compound lifts and properly schedule your routine and compound lifts , go for ppl if you can ( make sure not to overtrain) else just stick to brosplits with compound movements
