And none of these reasons matter one bit to me. I switched from a galaxy s10 plus to the iPhone 11 Pro and never looked back. I only watch occasional KZbin videos on my phone, don’t play games, don’t care about dex, don’t care about PowerShare or a stylus. 120 hz oh wow It looks smoother when I scroll. I tried one out next to my iPhone in a Best Buy for 20 minutes and was underwhelmed. No thanks I’ll disable it to save even a little batttery. All useless to me. I make sure my AirPods are charged and if someone else is low that’s their problem they’re not draining my battery. It’s all subjective.

Sadly, in the rest of the world, this device comes without 5G, less RAM, and with an Exynos CPU instead of the Snapdragon, which means subpar quality in performance, photos, and videos, compared with the US version. In my opinion, this is where Samsung fails, and why Apple always comes on top, especially the rest of the world. Because Samsung always releases different models everywhere, whereas Apple offers a single unified product that's easier for developers to work and optimize. In the end, it doesn't matter the design nor all the gimmicks a manufacturer adds to their devices. It always amounts to two things: 1. how smooth your device works in terms of performance, and 2. how good the pictures and videos look. And even with the admittedly lack of innovation of the current generation, Apple still excels in these two regards compared to any other manufacturer in the world.

Initially, I thought the iphones look really good because of the design cues taken from iPhone 4 which I really loved. But then when place along the Note 20 ultra or most of 2020 flagship phones, it look kinda dated specially that eyesore huge notch. Just want to point out, the S-Pen is one thing i can't do without, it is the biggest advantage over any other phone including other Samsung smartphones specifically the Fold.

The thing is though, a lot of people that buy the iPhone, including myself, are deep within the ecosystem. If you have a mac or iPad, the iPhone just goes hand in hand with it, and everything just integrates so smoothly. Also, people such as myself, aren't really requiring all the customizations and such that many android fans need. Whether I had an Android or iPhone, I just do basic stuff like text, social media, etc. All of which can be done on both devices. Everyone I know, from coworkers to family and friends, also use the iPhone so that further keeps me buried within the ecosystem. iMessage and FaceTime has a way to lock you in, again because of the integration between iOS, MacOS, and iPadOS. And it's all native and built right in without requiring 3rd party downloads. Hope that makes sense. lol

Since Apple supports their devices, in some cases 5 plus years, you get more updates and basically a new phone each year. My iPhone 10 is almost three years old and is just as fast as the Galaxy S20 and still looks brand new and on the latest iOS and runs all the latest apps just like the current iPhones. So price per performance definitely goes to iPhone.

DON'T GET THE NOTE 20! IT feels completely cheap and there is nothing special about it. If you absolutely need the pen, then go for it. Otherwise, it feels cheap and looks ugly in person. The 12 pro max feels superior, the colors are bolder, the whole experience is MUCH better than the note. I have both phones.

Just want to share, I plan to switch to the iphone 12 pro max , i have been using samsung smartphones since the first note currently using the s10, It's true that the note 20 ultra have features that are better than the ip12pro/max but i think some of those features are more like a gimmick at least for me. 1.)120hz display for me is really nice to have but i dont think it's really necessary for smartphones it drains the battery faster plus it limits the display to full hd. So personally it's not a big wow feature. 2.)S pen in the other hand is subjective as well. i think i used 3 generations of note series i loved the s pen but ended up not using it that much. the note 20's display yes looks better but overall design not really. the colors, design, material choice some of it feels and looks better on the iphone it just really looks classier than the note. the curve display is cool but i'm done with it. i really want a flat screen(more practical). take note it's a hassle to have a curved display you need to buy an expensive tempered glass because curve displays are complicated. yes the notch looks bad but if you think of it they put a very reliable face id for it. unlike the underneath finger display on the s series/ note. which when you put a tempered glass on is almost unusable. overall i think the note 20 have advantages and iphone 12 as well. i admire samsung for always trying to innovate but the problem with them is they just create and create new features without making sure if those features are really relevant or even very well tested. on the other hand iphone is slow in adding new features. but the features they add are really just more practical. Just look at magsafe it's such a simple feature but im betting on it . it will be a big thing to have.

Ive used iPhone for the past 8 years. To be honest Iphone is really nothing special unless you’re a social media addict. The only thing better about iPhone I believe is the camera. Other than that every other feature about the iPhone sucks. You just don’t have the freedom you do on Android phones. iPhone is limited on almost every aspect. They literally try to control everything you can do. The phone is made for the non technical people who just like taking pictures (and there’s no problem with that). Everyone just has different preferences. Samsung’s are like having mini computers in your hands. iPhone is like having a phone with a high end camera on it.

As an iPhone user, I 100 percent agree with you. I’ll be getting one this Boxing Day. Farewell apple. Edit: I’ve gotten my Note 20 Ultra! I’m so far impressed by the feature set and S pen. However, I’m not impressed by the battery life (Here in Australia we get the Exynos model). At 120hz I’m an average getting around 3 hours - 4 hours of screen on time, and 2 hours of screen off time. While on my iPhone, I got around 8 hours of screen on time, and 2 hours of screen off time. I can’t say it’s a dealbreaker though, the freedom of android and the Note’s S pen and display completely makes up for its shortcomings.

I know some phones are super fast now, but the Note 9 is still my favorite phone. The Note 9 has no pill on the screen itself for selfies or a notch in the way of the screen and both bug me on some phones, it's ultrawide already, it has a headphone jack, and with game mode games can be fast enough. FYI Mario Kart mobile is still the best looking game in terms of quality on my Note 9, which is set to 4k mode when power saving mode is off and blue light filter on a timer for night time. Genshin Impact comes close to looking as good and with game mode the balance seems pretty smooth to me. Even after a year and a bit with my phone and the latest update, I have seen my phone stay fast enough. The next thing for gaming I will get will for sure be a gaming laptop with it's own setup. The Note 9 even has a reduced price and I thinif you don't need the latest and want a huge phone, then get it. The fact that the newest update doesn't destroy the hardware really to me is amazing and it's smart that they didn't put some newer ones since they would not run really ideally on older devices. The Note 9 even has a Pro Video mode in the camera app now. Some samsung built in apps I really like enough to not want to replace with some other apps which is also cool. There is many budget phones with some gaming phones being lower priced too.

I recommend the otterbox symmetry (non clear version) for super slim protection that is easier to clean than a super rubbery one and it feels better to me. The change from a bulky one helped my wrists stay better longer when using the phone for sure, plus it was not as expensive as some other pretty protective cases.

Great video and I’m sure the 20U is a great phone. I’ll be sticking with my iPhone tho. I’ve had both and it may have been bad luck but all Samsung phones I’ve had (10+) were absolute shit... sounds harsh but it’s true. I always felt like they where pushing for innovation TOO hard, yes each phone needs to be better than the last but i had such big soft and Hardware problems with Samsung that I’ve just never experienced with apple. Non of my Samsung’s lived past a year and a half. (5-7 h Daily use) Switched to the iPhone 8+ after over a decade of Samsung phones because everyone said that they are so much better and apple just sells the same crap every year. The way apple products work together, the sleek hard and software design and the fact that they don’t jump on every trend that other companies create are things that a smaller Basel and notch won’t be worth for me. I don’t need a pen and phones that have a foldable screens. I need something that works NOW. And apple has been able to do that way more than Samsung (like I said, at least for me and my friends that’s the case, I even have some friends switching over to apple this year because their 1-2 year old phones are on their third battery and need screen replacement. My iPhone 8+ has been going strong on 97% battery capacity, first screen (uncracked even tho I drop it all the time) and not once did it lag, restart or crash on me (unbelievable compared to the weekly breakdowns of my Samsung’s) since 2017!! I’ll be passing my baby on to my mom this year and upgrade to the 12 pro max even tho I wouldn’t even need to (use my phone as a camera tho so the 12 pro will be a Giant Update)

For Samsung users in the US, yep it is really awesome. You can say that the Note 20 is years ahead of the iPhone. But with the international (Exynos) version, now that's a different story. Until Samsung fixes this absurd issue, they will remain one of those phone manufacturers that I really don't trust.

Iphone is just one (better performance, better video, better experience in APP`s, better value in 2nd hand ...), already the samsung note there are two very different ??!, which is the brand that makes two different smartphones and gives them the same name ?? !! DON'T GET THE NOTE 20! IT feels completely cheap and there is nothing special about it. If you absolutely need the pen, then go for it. Otherwise, it feels cheap and looks ugly in person. The 12 pro max feels superior, the colors are bolder, the whole experience is MUCH better than the note. I have both phones.

@@stockstew420, AND I have both phones. The 12 pro max is far superior in terms of quality, touch, feel, and look. The note feels like a piece of plastic and the screen display is like so last year (the screen is dull and doesn't have any vibrancy- well, at least that's when it's put up against the pro max). Unless you absolutely need the pen and the tricks with the pen, the note is just an overpriced ordinary phone. It's not worth the money!

I am a note20U user but lets be honest here. Apple has very good cameras and the messenger is also very good. Samsung wins with 120hz plus 12gigs of ram, sd card slot, customization and the 865+ beats A14 in independent lab tests but the iphone 12 pro (max) is still an incredible phone. Technology has come so fast you can't go wrong with any flagship. Last thing which someone already said was artistic and many professionals use an eco system and lets face it, macs are macs.
