Very helpful video for those of us who are now for the first time purchasing an iPhone without the home button and jumping into iOS12 full on. Thank you for not rushing through all the tricks in 5 minutes like most tech channels! Much easier to remember all these things when you talk like a good instructor rather than somebody who can't wait to get the video finished, lol. HardcorrDays I promise you won’t. I watched reviews before purchasing Friday and the negative reviews had me so nervous about getting this phone. Most of the cons weren’t even true (in the comment section mostly) I thought the phone was gonna be enormous, coming from a 7 plus it wasn’t overwhelming at all. All the features that I’d thought I’d be losing such as home button u can actually create one like he jus showed in this video...but after hopping on it at the store Friday...I fell in love instantly and didn’t miss a thing. They even had me believe the facial recognition was a problem that would make me miss the Id touch. It jus an all around amazing phone...I’m so happy I didn’t let the naysayers persuade me otherwise!!! 💕💕💕💕💕

I got the phone around at the end of Dec. 2018, and thought the XS Max would be big too, mainly because I never liked the bigger iPhones, always stuck with the smaller versions, but honestly after a couple days of getting used to it, I couldn’t go back to a smaller iPhone! My only concern was the back glass. But even after dropping my phone several times the case always saved it. Thanks for your input.

Go to settings and click on accessibility, then screw down to hearing and click audio/visual, from there you will see the led flash for alert, just put it on

Been a lifelong iPhone user. Switched to Samsung S8 plus when it first came out. It’s been OK but I just ordered the XS Max. Making the switch. I will miss the back button and the capability to add a memory card on the Samsung though.

I just bought this phone almost brand new in 2023. 100% battery health MINT condition as my secondary cell next to my 13 Pro Max. this XS Max works flawlessly. STILL getting software updates. It easily could be my primary cell. no question. Find me any android phone Pixel or Samsung that can do that. Android just reels you in. and dumps your ass in a few short years basically forcing your hand to drop another grand to stay current. My iPhone 8S Plus was replaced by this XS Max. Even my 8S Plus is STILL getting software updates. Why people waste their money on Android?

I upgraded from the 7 Plus and while it's nice I'm kind of wishing I waited for the XR. From my understanding it has the same LCD screen as previous iPhones that I was happy with and doesn't have the 2x camera but that's the only difference. So far I'm just not that excited about the OLED but perhaps that will change with time. It's not that I dislike it but rather meh it's a little better but I don't know if it was worth the extra $400 I spent over the 128 GB XR. Oh well too late now to change it 😂😂😂

Oh I forgot to mention I bought this XS Max in March of 2023 brand new for 180$ on eBay. Not a scratch ding kn ick or anything. Gold 256GB storage works perfectly and easily gets a day or so on battery. Apple all day errrr day. I don't care about 900 little extra customizations.
