Deb, no disrespect or anything, but not having an answer for short yardage situations other than sneaking your quarterback, (which clearly that Chiefs had an answer to), is completely inexcusable. It shows a profound lack of preparation. McDermott not challenging the spot on third down when Dawson Knox clearly had the 1st down, quickly going to the line and getting shut down on 4th and 1 for the third time in the game was absolutely agregious. Not only did he not challenge the play, we rushed to the line and kept trying to do the same thing that was not successful earlier. Getting carved to pieces by a pick (Worthy) that we hand delivered to our biggest rival, allowing the most points by any team that the Chiefs faced this year, watching our first round draft pick two years ago drop what should have been a catch to put us in field goal range, and another 1st rounder (Elam) completely s*** the bed for the second time this season when we needed him to just play average at best, was a little bit too much to take given the circumstances. If you think the coaching stiff having one plan for short yarded situations, and no other alternatives if it becomes either predictable or in effective ( in this case both) is trying their best, then you and most people have completely different standards on what we should be expecting from our coaching staff. These aren't children getting participation trophies and pats on the back from their parents. They are multi-million or athletes and coaches that need to be held accountable for failing to do the job they are paid to do. Criticism is not only acceptable, it's appropriate.

Lies. They were demolished. Bills played desperate football going for it on 4th down six times. Inability to move the ball in three downs is considered inferior team. It was close because the Bills were taking very high risk all game. It finally backfired on them. If they punted on 3rd downs like a normal team, they lose by double digits.

We have been impressed with the players, the plays and the coaching staff and decisions up until now. They defied all odds and pushed through a lot of adversity in a year that was supposed to be a reset. Sure, we can pick it apart like you have and I get that trust me I do. If they didn't succumb to some of those bad calls that we all can agree were bad, it could have gone another way. The players said they were going to stick to their script that worked all season & not try to pull out crazy stops. Could they have pushed harder or had different approaches like you laid out (perfectly), yeah, but if those failed we would be saying they should have stuck to the script of what works best for them. Ya know? It sucks. No one wanted this more than the coaches & the team. I hate this just as much as anyone else that cares. In our jobs, in our relationships, we have many paths we could go down & we choose a path and hope we chose the right path. Sometimes we get it right and sometimes we don't.

Let's give credit where it's due - Mahomes/Reid/Spagnuolo will go down as the greatest trio in NFL history. No disgrace losing to this team. Mahomes has done it to everyone. Hell - even in the Superbowl he lost to Brady the guy was throwing insane passes whilst fully horizontal which could very easily have swung the game had Tyreek especially held on to the ball. And Mahomes was RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE the entire game!

Defense is the issue again! In 4 playoff games against chiefs, they've allowed KC to score on 24 of 39 drives, 6 of those drives were kneel downs, so 24 out of 33 drives they scored on buffalo! McDermott has to go. Enough sample size to see this is the issue!!

Superior head coach, superior offensive coordinator, vastly superior defensive coordinator. Mahomes is just clutch in games that really matter. Bills have a constantly, constantly, injured defensive backfield and an "emergency" cornerback who shouldn't be in the league along with a safety who is undersized and if it wasn't for a "feel good" come back story from three seasons ago wouldn't be on a team most likely but with the cap space, there is no alternative. In any event, he shouldn't be starting on an NFL team. The Chiefs just own the Bills, plain and simple. It's heart breaking, but it is what it is. For only the second time in memory, I'll not be watching the SB, and that's NOT because of sour grapes. I just can not look at the Chiefs, Tay Tay or Donna Kelce anymore. Thank you Bills for a great year where you really did overachieve, and I mean that. Always my team.

I am not here to fight with anyone, but If the reception wasn't a reception there was a hold so it would have been a first down, and the Bills we can all agree didn't stop the Chiefs and weren't going to from the 5 or wherever the hold would have put them... With that being said I the rule agree or disagree with it is a tie goes to the offensive player, same as in Baseball tie goes to the runner at the base ... etc The QB sneak you make it sound too obvious, and I saw it as short, but I was rooting for the chiefs to be fair, so we see things with our heart sometimes, so I understand where you are coming from.... Josh Allen is a stud and I saw it coming out of College because he loves Football, and loves getting better, and that's ultimately what holds back Herbert and will continue to hold him back for example.. The difference was in the coaching. Spags had their D prepared for a supposedly unstoppable QB sneak, and the Bills kept trying it. When you see that the Chiefs D are putting all their efforts into timing the snap and closing the route Allen usually takes, you don't keep doing it. If the D are focused entirely on that, you just hand off to the back, or even have Allen run off to the side.

The down judge is responsible for the LOS with the line judge assisting. Unfortunately the line judge had the best view and didn’t seem to collaborate with the down judge who had no view of the ball and had to be guessing where the ball was. Sad situation that could have been avoided if the line judge had provided his input.

Sal, as a Chiefs fan thanks for saying the Bills just didn't make enough plays. It gets old listening to the crying that the refs cost us the game. I mean we could all argue but on the Worthy catch if they call it incomplete we accept the penalty that was called on the play and have it 1st and 10 from the 20 yard line instead of the 5 yard line. As a Chiefs fan I had no doubt we would score a TD still on that drive. Than on the Allen 4th and inches 3/4 of America thought he just got over because they are tired of the Chiefs and wanted them to lose but again as a fan I am basis and I thought it was close so it depended on what the call on the field was. The crime is that your coach rushed to the line to run the 4th down play instead of throwing the flag to challenge the spot from the previous pass play that put you in 4th and inches. Overall Josh played well and I think he is great but no matter what he had the ball in his hands down 3 with over 2 minutes and 3 timeouts. Buffalo didn't score and gave the ball back to Mahomes and all he did was get 2 first downs to end the game.

I saw this criticism on Twitter. If you watch it in real time, Allen was being driven back into his own endzone. He would of had to have thrown across his body, across the filed falling backwards, to get the ball to Shakir. It's a damn miracle he got the ball to Kincaid. The ref who tried to mark the 1st down was behind both big ass chris jones & also justin reid, i dont think that ref had a clear view, he got ahead of the sticks just by simply trying to look around Chris is what it looked like to me. As a chiefs fan, i thought they would give it to bills still just cause all the talk lately about refs. The worthy catch to me i didnt think was a catch but i also thought hollywood drop last week was a catch. No one knows what a catch is. The worthy play helped but i think we still score without it due to the penalty that was declined that would've given chiefs a 1st down in redzone.

Analyze all you want. The 4th and 1 was a first down and that play is why Chiefs won. Bills were rolling at that point. Plus, Kincaid (or Knox) got first down before that play another terrible spot. Games at this level come down to one call or play. Ask great tennis players they will tell you, .one point in a game can decide the match. The difference in tennis they use technology to call balls in or out. Not refs

It’s not the same Chiefs team at all. The Chiefs O line was made of 3rd stringers and guys off the street in that game. They didn’t have the Defense was bottom of the league that year. The next year the Chiefs kicked your ass and yall haven’t done anything since.
