I feel that this concept could definitely be used in some of your other what ifs where a character gets Kai training (indicated by the clothes) but not like aiming to be a proper kai. So like Vegeta in what if He raised Tarble. but less like this for instance and more like Trunks. Unknown powers that can help in dire situations like healing a near dead ally so they survive. Shin doesn't know a lot about Kai stuff really like with the time limit on potara so it could still work well
