It's not a "what if X happened", but i would love to see a scenario where Kami has god ki. Piccolo would then be a possessor of a small amount of god ki post fusion. Wouldn't neccesarily change a lot in Z (maybe he cant properly train it by himself), by it would mean Piccolo is aware of godly ki when Battle of Gods rolls around and is able to sense Beerus and SSG Goku. Maybe Beerus/Whis is even impressed by a Namekian with god ki, and offers to teach him.

@@Skullhawk13 Yeah initially Ultimate/Mystic was never an actual transformation, it was a state he was constantly in where his full potential/strength was drawn out but then they retconned it in super to become a power up transformation. So even if he didn't train he'd still have access to it always but I assume he'd still loose some strength if he did no training at all. Here's hoping Beast will be the one to beat black frieza.

Not only that, but from the end of the Buu saga until Resurrection F, it became pretty obvious he stopped training. As he had trouble against Frieza ONLY in his 1st form from just 1 big punch and almost probably died (granted Frieza was training as soon as he got revived).

The one thing I would have loved to hear, even if only for the briefest of moments, is Vegeta and Goku looking at each other in a sense of heightened understanding of themselves and each other as their eyes flicker in the other's colors (Purple for Goku, Grey for Vegeta). Obviously not total mastery of the other form, but the awareness of how it can be useful in building up their go-to.

Can you do a what if Shallot was canon? Maybe he could be a Saiyan that was originally sent to Earth long before Goku was ever sent there, but ended up being adopted by a human family. Maybe he could get involved with the story sometime in early Dragon Ball, perhaps the family found a Dragon Ball and the Pilaf Gang gets involved.
