Other than Mane in his last season there is no evidence of the other forwards picking up the G/A if Salah gets injured or is out of form. They all look great now next to Salah Ballon Dor level but can they pick up the slack if Mo is out? Did not happen last season. Mo is number 1 for me in terms of contract importance, Mo 40%, VVD, 35% and Trent 25%.

@SG__14 had to check but we played Luton, Chelsea cup final, Southampton, Forest away, Sparta Prague and then he came off bench against City. Some pretty straightforward fixtures. Forest was a great win.

These contract situations lfc have at the moment obviously isnt good but its also hard to have a in depth convo about it as fans i think because none of us know all the facts about what exactly all 3 players want and what the club is actually willing to offer at the moment and we can also include the contract situation with diaz and ibou in that also, for all we know Salah could be asking for 500k a week we just dont know all the facts right now.

If Trent respects liverpool he should sign a contract with liverpool with a release clause that at a figure that allows liverpool to get money back say £80-£110million so in the summer, real pay the money specified, he leave and liverpool get paid. FOR TRENT TO LEAVE ON A FREE IN THE SUMMER WOULD BE TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL.

Watching the show on a Tuesday afternoon, if at least 2 out of 3 leave on a free, we will be the biggest laughing stock in football, not signing these 3 up shows a complete lack of ambition from the club, potentially we could win major honours over the next 2-3 years if these 3 would still be with us. Just a thought, but football players like a Trent are definitely mapping their careers out at 21 or even younger to keep their options open for a club like Madrid. Every year football and the players are adopting the American sports model of running their business and Trent is moving exactly how a lot of young NBA players do when they get a chance to play for the Lakers or Knicks. Its just that in football there’s no salary cap and they have more freedom to move around

@KOPISHTV The greater issue is that you will have to replace those 3 in 3 years anyways so what is the succeccion plan? That is the greater problem facing liverpool aka you don't have one. Quansah and Gomez are not even half way to replacing Konate let alone VVD. Who have they scouted that would replace him in the market aka £60-80mil+ Bradley is good and will need 3 years playing consistently but he ain't no TAA SALAH IS ONE OF ONE. There is no one at liverpool now or in the market that gets close to replacing him. Omar Marmoush, Eintreach Frankfurt ain't even close aka may take him 5 years before he gets to the early Salah level.
