Salah didn't win nothing in my opinion.First off the man stopped mid battle to have a little convo. Don't talk just dance. Second the man wasn't even popping. The man did a freeze during a popping battle. WHAT!

Alex Cedeno The little convo was a little much and he put to much of the "battle" aspect into his dance rather than actually dancing, but incorporating any form of dance into popping is still popping, everyone has their unique style and the fact that he was still hitting beats in the freeze to compliment his popping style. In the same way, poppers can include tutting, locking etc. and make it their style.

Bryan Mera First off battling is straight dancing. He didn't put to much of the "battle" aspect in his dance. If so he would have straight popped against Green. The convo was just unnecessary shit talk. And the second part you said only goes but so far. How you said popping can include tutting is true cause tutting is under the umbrella of popping, along with robotics, animation, toy man etc. Locking isn't apart of popping cause its locking. Even if you do hit while your locking, your still locking at the end of the day. Which brings me to salah. He did a freeze. Freeze's are under the umbrella of Breaking, along with 6-step, top rocks etc. Freeze's are not under the umbrella of popping therefore he was breaking in a popping battle. Not saying dancers have to limit themselves to the foundations of their craft but if you want to mix around with other styles at least go to an all-styles battle.

Go no further everyone, this will sum up the majority of the comments here made by Salah Fan boys. 4:33. check out Salah's arm control while imagining to cradle a baby. Just exquisite, mind-blowing musicality. This move is really rare. 4:34. Salah is god, he makes no mistakes. Salah begins walking a dog on a leash to then putting it into a stroller. Such incredible musicality. The chances you will see this move done by Salah is rare, maybe every other battle if you are lucky. Once again, Salah can't lose and he only wins guys. Please, understand my sarcasm and do not pay these people attention because they are one time crowds that have seen Salah on the streets entertaining and do not understand Pop battling.

@@snaigel It is known that Greenteck has more technique and more variety of movements, since Larry & if the twins and like Salah already know what movement they will perform in the battle what makes them predictable and only saved on the issue of musicality to pass their battles since their rounds in terms of movements have no surprise or variants, for me the only one who has better technique and variants of movement that greenteck is slim boogie and as for creativity just the same would include mt pop.

i think that the battle-philosophie or what it should be is not that clear. we hear og's saying that you must face the oponent, dont please the crowd, dont please the judges....???? i thought a dance-battle is to outperforme another dancer. and isnt the performance of dancing to making the viewer happy? i think all those pseudo gangsters who pretend that dancing have kept them from the streets, have no balls to go to competition like ultimate fighting, so they bullshit us in the dancing scene about how to battle someone.

Salah is legend. But greenteck is too good. Salah gets really boring sometimes because I feel like he thinks,"These people already know I'm amazing. I don't need to do much." He does one move then goes into this step that I'm sure all poppers have. Then he does another. Then goes back into his step. Greenteck just flows everything together. I will say that Salah has a great battling personality and really connects with the crowd though.

Yes! Audio Fixed! Unlike the last video, now having more camera angles, seeing Green's trash talk is not so bad. Green didn't do anything that poppers in Europe don't do. Especially in Europe they imitate another dancers moves when it's not their turn to dance. Green also showed Salah that he uses too many tricks. 5:30, Green shows Salah that he need to POP MORE. Salah actually did more popping than he did against Hozin in "Last One Standing 2014" like a month ago which is great! But he just didn't compete with Green's technique and sick footwork. Salah trash talked too, through battle, acting like a child about Green not leaving the stage. Green was far enough, but Salah decided to make a big deal of it. Green stepped into the stage in second round, but Salah pushed him back (Touching him!). If we keep looking for who pushed it further in with the trash talk and bad behavior it'll never end. It is a battle. Even Mr.Wiggles says that trash talk is a part of a battle and hip hop. Even though Popping is more of a funk style, trash talk is a part of it and both sides did it. I dig Salah, and he knows his shit. He's a huge inspiration but Green took this battle. And anyone has any idea what's the second song?

Green actually said Salah spoke 1st (in a rude way at least) and all green said to him was "let me show you how to funk". and apparently what salah shouted at some point is akin to "stfu" in french. Now this is just what green has said in response to hate poured on him by fans of salah (and im a fan of both these guys). It looks to me that 1st round green was fine but he was just replying to all of salahs mocking and clowning while salah was dancing, and yeah its totally normal to mimic and mock the other popper when its not ur turn. Personally i draw the line at walking up to the guy thats dancing in the middle of the dance floor but the rest i was totally ok with. I dont know if the crowd were booing cus they disagree with the decision or cus salah wouldnt hug it out and set stuff straight at the end. I AM A BIG FAN OF BOTH DANCERS. this is my opinion and some facts. things started out great with green taking the floor first doing great as usual. then salah comes up and tells green to step behind the line LIKE DANCERS ARE SUPPOSE TO DO (RESPECT A DANCER'S SPACE). and green tech hesitated which is why salah started the baby taunt. then green was proving that he was being a baby by imitating salah's moves and interrupting him when it was his turn. regardless if you guys think salah is a performer or not. he's still DANCING, which includes popping, waving, animation, personality, and SOME FRIENDLY TAUNTS which salah does all of them as you see in this battle except for when he was sticking the middle finger but that was AFTER greenteck kept making fun and interrupting salah. yes salah does the same moves but guess what...... SO DOES GREENTECK AND EVERY OTHER DANCER IN THE WHOLE FREAKING WORLD! we all do waves, tutting, and power moves. When the second round started, green continues dancing and as far as the camera showed, salah was only taunting green about his hair, which isn't anything to serious. but then as soon as it was salah's turn again.......THE WHOOOOLLLEEEE ENTIRE TIME in salah's round green was dancing and interrupting him. never have i seen such disrespect for a battle, especially when it involves two friends.....or use to b friends. i don't what there friendship status is after this, hopefully they're good now. but still salah was getting upset which is why he didn't hug green at the end of the battle. honestly i wouldn't either. yea dance battles involve taunting, but make it a friendly taunt, don't taunt a lot in a battle, or don't taunt at all. ...you don't even mention that on green's second round you can hear salah shouting out at green, which is just as bad or worse than what green was doing. and if green was a baby for imitating and interrupting salah's moves then what about the semi final in 2010 when salah did that to green? Also like you said, battles involve taunting, but salah can't handle that... which is why he starts making fun of greens hair which may not be so bad, but it is personal. Then Salah puts middle finger at green AND refuses to shake hands at the end of the battle, which is the most disrespectful things you can do! and its not the first time salah has been disrespectful in battles.

Battlers mock each other all the time especially when they see the same old moves time after time, no real disrespect there...just the name of the game. What u think are friendly taunts by Salah are known to other battlers as very disrespectful. The fact that u see Salah playing to the crowd all the time is disrespectful to other battlers, the battle is with the person your facing not the crowd. Khalid Amajoud popping would be boring without those tricks and things that people like you won’t admit that belong on a dance floor or like to discredit people of doing. Salah is an engineer and made head isolations and many isolations in general so popular. He’s out of his prime so no shit his foundation isn’t very good but you have to understand that these things should be part of popping otherwise popping wouldn’t be as intriguing, leaving this type of dance to not be as competitive and fun. Man I'm so glad I went this year and watched right at the front of the stage in the middle of this history. This video does what went down a lot of justice but another thing it misses is Green calling out other tricks of Salah which is another reason why I believe he won this hands down along with the rest you can see. Was a hell of a thing to watch right in your face

Salah danced greatly in my book, I think GT did too but, GT didn't really respect salah with staying behind the lines, even when salah did his move and his hat fell down, GT went deliberately to interrupt the guy, as well as that scene where he's giving the guy a bounce, that's kinda messed up, things like that should get a dancer penalty or disqualified. Both of them have their skills, Personally Salah is a great dancer he has the experience, skills and he is an entertainer as well. He knows how to make the crowd laugh instead of everyone being all quiet and bored. I think salah won and i do think GT acted immaturely in the sense of giving the other dancer a fair chance of competing. When both of them started to diss each other is when the entire thing went south. Overall it was still good. Both are great dancers just in their own ways.

It's so funny to read these comments. Green trashed salah both rounds. When green stepped in on salah 2nd rd was because salah fumbled one of his go to tricks. Salah couldn't handle the pressure. To say green doesn't know salahs style is totally untrue. They both battled on the same team many of times. Salah trash talked green the first time they battled and got into his head. This time around green got the best of him. It was also some underlying tension between the two of them. That nobody knows so salah took it wrong when green told him he was going to show him some funk at the beginning.

Knowing these two dancers, I thought Green danced badly and I think Salah danced even worse. There was a lot of taunting and gamesmanship by Green, which managed to get Salah to spend way too much time responding to it. I get why Green might do that because the crowd is often on Salah's side and Salah loves to win the gesturing game anyway. I personally don't like this kind of stuff, cuz as a dancer and a fan, what you get is poor performances by both. No real top-shelf stuff was shown here.

I still believe Salah is technically more skilled than Greentech - I think his body control, cleanness and originality is superior. Greentech did 'dance' more and had fuller, more cohesive sets, but I didn't think he was outstandingly original or masterful in execution (not to say he isn't a very good dancer). However I think Salah cost himself the battle by focusing too much on gags and burns. If he had delivered some of his best continuous sets, I think he would have taken it.
