I hate how much space is needed just for all the extra copies of Extra Deck monsters. Pyro Phoenix is basically a pair of flex spots(unironically might rather run Heatleo or Violet Chimera), but the second, and even THIRD Raging Phoenix are arguably necessary.

Yo this looks dope! And it truly does feel like Salad is its own deck now without relying too much on Accesscode as they now have access to an OTK line with Raging Phoenix and disruption with Pyro Phoenix. I heard that with a good hand, you can play more into Nibiru now and with the slightly new playstyle, Salads is even more fun to play than before. I already Salada before but the new support really made it better and more fun to play! Also, hell yeah! Raging Phoenix animation is dope!

There is another combo where you first make your Pyro Phoenix and then summon Sunlight Wolf to your opponents field. Then you activate your Princess in grave to pop Pyro Phoenix and the Sunlight as CL1 and in CL2 you put Pyro Phoenix to burn 1800 damage. When Princess resolves, you protect your Pyro Phoenix with a Balelynx. Once done, you use Princess and horse prince to go to Raging and then your 2nd to get one of the traps.

I think salad now in bo1 performs wayyy better than in the tcg bc of how you can more reliably get access to your two traps + all the unknown cards in your hand and the follow-up for an otk. Still going second, if you somehow remove raging phoenix from the field or nib, this deck crumbles hard. Sincerely, your labrynth player

I’ve seen some variations of the one card combo using stalio search to grab jaguar instead of weasel. Instead of the draw from weasel, the end board also has a sunlight wolf underneath the other emz and doesn’t use the third copy of raging phoenix. Do you value the extra draw more?

Would you recommend this setup or the one centering mostly on ladydebug instead just to get S:P out more consistently since you're not fire locked as often? Is there a certain hand you can get out S:P with this setup too while still ending on one or both phoenix+trap(s) and code of soul in grave? Any way to play around/check for nib since miragestallio stops the S:P from activating on your turn? Sorry for the barrage of questions. Not trying to play zoo here.

Pretty much, if not didruptions just do the combo normally. If you get Will of Salamangreat you can summon pyro easily
