First of all, stop generalizing. Sex isn't considered to be a chore by women, Either they arent satisfied or not interested. Second, husband is not the employer, this isn't a workplace, she deserves the money for the sweat and time she spends cooking, cleaning, and other chores. In most marriages, sex is used as a bargaining chip. You can deny but its there. Withholding sex to get their way is a very common marital tactic used to compel men to move out of their parental home, buy her gifts or.. OR get more money. That's what is DEGRADING. An unemployed housewife is alread living on free rent, free food, free clothes, free treats, free trips FREE EVERYTHING! Every upper middle class home has all or some of the following - washing machines, dishwashers, microwave/ovens, vacuum cleaners. While those still need to be operated its nothing compared to the manual labor thats put in. Those I can safely assume were paid out of the man's pay cheque as well. If the government is ready to foot the bill then super!! Then it becomes unemployment pay, which every unemployed person should be eligible for Not just women. I don’t think homemakers should be paid, I was a stay at home mom, most my life, and to be blessed to be a homemaker and raise my sons, that’s worth more then any amount $$. I could have chose to work, if I wanted a paycheck. We are not privileged, it’s always been a financial struggle. Raising good heart good morals, respectful children into men, was 1st priority. I was paid parent, it has paid off over the years. They will succeed in life, and will always remember their raisings. Can’t put a price on that.

@@svnaviation6159 most women in poorer sections suffer a lot..and due to this kids..also suffer .imagine even pregnant women are not saved from abuse.. we had maids working during pregnancy as well..and they give birth..to extremely small children with lower IQ..and such babies are prone to diabities in older age. .after 30..If we ensure women is well taken care of . everything will fall into place..this is irrespective..of social status..So..we need to ensure.. equal access to bank accounts and public property..one of working friends..works for a big company..but got no support from home..and got only 6hrs of sleep. Every day..she was not even allowed to keep a maid..once her office opened a creche for kid..she manages..some sleep..and now the kid has also grown up..

Teachers are working for 3,000 per month where as labours get 600 per day. Make a program on that. Women should just say it if they have a prostitute mentality and should stop lying on the backend because mam marriage only benefits women. if we paying for housework, we should also put a price on men defending the house, doing any outside the house work, maintaining car, motorcycle, things around the house, help around the house. The husband will pay for her services as a wife, and mostly the tax payer will pay for her services as a mother, as they will reap the benefits a few years on. In England, it’s generally accepted also that older kids should pull their weight and help with the bills, and they usually want to, although sadly aren’t always able these days. There’s no security for the mum though. No guarantee she won’t be left in the lurch. It’s a long time to wait.

And child bearing and deleivering not once at least 2-3times that brings so many complications in woman body with which woman has to live all through her life harmonal imbalance, pcos, fibrosis, osteoporosis, anemia , saggy body back ache, cervicle spodilytis, weight gain pigmentation loss of physical strength and many more not mentioned which otherwise she was not at all suffering before pregnancy. Who will compensate that. And also other fevours (s** ) regularly forced or unforced, . Her time ,energy , education, emotions and knowledge spent by her on family and home, had otherwise spent else where how much bank balance she would have made. Most of the India husbands take all services of wife on the name of his rights and her duty but gives no money in her account, no property rights, no respect and no rights in home and family she is given. Even some times thrown out completely sucked and shattered (kangaal) nothing in her hand and body to live on her own after years of services given as housewife. What about her security . Ek company bhi employ ko nikalne per 1-2 mahine ki salary pf sab deti hai service ke dauraan her mahine salary milti hai work hrs and days fix hote hein magar Indian husband exploite karta hai on the name of marriage aur kuchh nahin deta. Who is proud of this marriage system which exploits millions of women in India
