I've struggled with salary negotiation for a long time, and on several occasions I'm unsatisfied with the offers that I end up taking. The idea of speaking out the figure that you are thinking of prior to the interview is definitely something that I will try. Just began a new job and disgruntled with the pay, which agreed on, despite having a figure in mind that I wanted. In this case, is it professional to renegotiate even after signing a contract? I look forward to putting some of the lessons here into practice.

Thank you for this Joan... I have a question.. You get an interview during this Pandemic, and the interviewer requests you to remove your mask. But then again you know about the current MOH rules, they have also indicated on a poster on the wall " Wear your mask all the time" you also dont want to remove the mask for the same obvious reasons...Corona. Would responding with a " let me keep it on, but I'll try my best to be audible" would that contribute to discuss disqualification for the position in the light of "does not listen to instructions?

How can we check a salary rate for a position in UK.
@LolaBugzy852 жыл бұрын
The advantage with govt/state corporations you dnt have to negotiate for salary. There is a stipulated salary scale as per negotiated CBAs and allowances as per SRC. So you apply for a job with a clear salary. Very few times you get a small increment depending on your current salary though you can hardly call it salary negotiation.

What if you have no experience? Can we negotiate higher from what they offer?
