It was revived as Temptation in 2005, which was relatively successful and lasted 4 years, but ultimately I believe the era of successful gameshows on at 7pm is over. Nowadays, everyone is glued to their phone. Watching TV as a family after dinner doesn't happen anymore.

I remembered watching this show back in the days. It was fun to watch and that the host was friendly. I missed watching Sale more and more with every passing year.

Body Builder was Sonny Schmidt who went on to win the 1995 Olympia. In 2000 he was arrested for importing cocaine from Mexico. He did 3 years jail. Sadly he would die of cancer in 2004, aged 50.

I was a contestant on Sale of the Century in mid 1992. (Won one night, $1500 cash, dining table and a camera.). Glenn Ridge was the host. It would be fun to be able to access/buy? the episodes of the two shows I was on. Do you know if old tapes/records are available from the Australian version of SOTC?
