Sad timing. This is Mr. Kraft's last episode, and the death of Martin Mull has just been announced by his daughter, at age 80. R.I.P. Martin Mull, great in many roles, very committed to the madcap antics they had him go through as Mr. Kraft.

This is the last episode of season 4, the last episode ever on a major network (ABC) and the last appearance of Mr. Kraft and Brad. Lots of recurring characters were dropped after season 4 (Ms. Quick and Dreama are other examples) and so was the clock shop. Initially, they also dropped Harvey, but then they brought him back due to fan demand. After this, the show moved to WB and quite a few changes were made.

@@mariaskabardonis8353 I agree. The college years were a little different, but it was time for Sabrina to go to college after 4 years in high school. And I didn't like Morgan but I really like Miles and Roxie, so there was more good than bad with the new characters. But yes, it was bittersweet to lose the high school cast.

I’ll do my top 5 favorite episodes with Mr. Kraft. In honor of the actor 1. The 60’s it has one of my favorite quotes. I work in a public school so there aren’t any good mornings. Plus it contrast with his over the top fun 60’s persona I have a theory he was like that before Lucy 2. The teenager always fun 3. The Disney world him bonding with the caveman it’s funny how he bonds with people he thinks dated Hilda 4. The episode with Lucy because you see his past and that he really did care for Zelda 5. The Christmas episode Honorable mentions the dream one and the everyone worships Sabrina with the musical number The Valentines where he plays Willard and Hilda’s date Carlton

This episode (The End of an Era) was originally going to be the series finale as ABC had cancelled the show along with the other shows of the TGIF lineup. Fortunately, the show was picked up by the WB. *The show reportedly jumped networks due to purely monetary matters: ABC was more than willing to renew the show for a 5th season, but it was not willing to pay the reported $1.5 million that the production company wanted.* The WB then grabbed Sabrina. The WB paid a mere $675,000 per episode, but agreed to renew the show for three years (66 episodes).
