I have watched a lot of videos about Salem and I am still surprised about what new facts I can learn. Great video!

Excellent in-depth tour through the sites of some truly disturbing events! I appreciated the details about the personal relations among the people involved, and also the Salem Town v. Village perspective. And the photography/sound/editing were beautiful, as usual.

Thanks, Joe! I was surprised to find out how little I actually knew about the witch trials. Really fascinating history.

Absolutely amazing video as usual Katie. I still love how informative you are in your videos, I'm planning on visiting salem one day, of course not for halloween because of the busy chaos lol. Stay amazing and beautiful. I'll see you in the next one.

I used to visit for Halloween back when I was in college and could take the train, it's bonkers in October! I really loved being there in August, just before the spooky season. Thanks for watching!

Col. John (my 8th great grand uncle) Hathorne’s sister Elizabeth was my 8th Great Grandmother. She and her husband Israel Porter tried to help save one of the accused, Rebecca Nurse-to no avail. Author Nathaniel Hawthorne is my mother’s 4th cousin.

You have a very fascinating family tree! I read a lot about the efforts to save Rebecca Nurse, such a tragic story.

I learned that not many people died in Salem. It was another town where tons of people were accused and killed for being a witch.

Danvers. And then there was another town in CT I believe.

I have been to Salem Mass and I went to the Lizzie Borden house its haunted 100% and Salem has alot of history dark history and they were 19 people who were hanged b/c of being a witch. Giles Cory was pressed to death he put a curse on Salem Mass during 1692. If you see his ghost you die within a week. That's an urban legend. Bridget Bishop was 1st one who was told she was a witch. I know that Sarah Jessica Parker, Jeff Daniels who are celebs have realtives that go back to the Salem Witch Trails. See the show Who Do You Think You Are going back to your family tree and you never know who were realated too! Interesting if you ask me.
