Salem with Maxed Legendary Reload Module in World of Warships Legends 4K

Salem is the new steel ship available in the forge for 25,000 steel. She is a premium American heavy cruiser at tier 8, and comes with radar, DFAA, and a super heal good for over 18,000 health. The radar is a little shorter range, and the sonar is missing but Salem makes up for it in sheer firepower. She has 9 x 203mm guns, that like Des Moines, are autoloading guns, and reload in 5.5 seconds base giving her one of the highest damage output potentials at the tier. In addition, she has the strongest DPS for her AA guns at tier 8, a strong 30mm deck and upper belt, and decent concealment. Curious about brining her to your port? Honestly, I think this ship is more worth it than Des Moines because it’s a tier lower. Kinda like the Sumner is compared to the Gearing

With Salem as the new addition to the steel forge, Missouri’s price change, frag-camo’s for legendary ships and steel prices for mod upgrades, WG better include a faster and more reliable way of earning steel. At these prices, trying to accumulate enough steel, just won’t cut it anymore. If WG allowed it, perhaps in the daily missions, players can earn 25 steel and weekly missions can award 150 steel. Completing campaign missions every week should bring in 250 steel. Anything to earn steel, is better than earning nothing.

Very happy, now I've got a little of catch up to do after buying some camos for my Worcester and Kleber. Sitting at 23,300 steel, so it won't take too long. Thanks again

Dude no doubt, roasted a full Lexington squadron when he tried to drop me. Unsure if he even got the bombs off (maybe he did, can't remember). And then gave a Saipan a similar treatment. Granted those are not LT carriers, haven't played one of those yet. And tbh I don't know the Squadron HP difference from T7 to LT

@@DerkaGames There’s isn’t a big hp difference, in fact Midway has More fragile planes than Lexy! But nonetheless I would never go for Salem especially since it’s forced to use DAAF

Another solid video as always. The price is steep for sure. However if they take fleet battles to tier 8 this would dominate. I was soso on the MO as Im not a BB player. However this is leaning me towards saving some unless I opt to upgrade some modules. However I rarely play tier 8 as so few play the tier. This could sway me to do so. I LOVE the des moines, one of my favorite ships on pc and legends. In clan battles it was an essential ship to have alone with the zao.

I do like her, her stealth skilll is strong and having fully packed on this boat is better than refill station. But, Einstein has a more useful base trait, and more useful skills in slot 1 and 2 imo. Ingenious and Full speed ahead are great to round out an American heavy. It's a tough choice for sure
