Hey Devender, sure you can. However, while learning Salesforce you will be starting from scratch. As the programming is different from the web development work that you have been doing. There are other courses that you can look into as well to boost your career and take the next step. If you are interested, mention your contact details and have a counselling session with our experts. Hope this helps :)

I want to calculate public holidays with company leaves. so how can i calculate ???
@edurekaIN6 жыл бұрын
Hey Aljiwala, "Assuming your working week is Monday to Friday you should be able to calculate the number of working days between two dates using the following Apex. You could enhance this to determine your working days using the BusinessHours object if you wanted to. 01 public Integer calculateWorkingDaysBetweenTwoDates(Date date1, Date date2) 02 { 03 List holidays = [SELECT StartTimeInMinutes, Name, ActivityDate FROM Holiday]; 04 05 Integer allDaysBetween = date1.daysBetween(date2); 06 Integer allWorkingDays = 0; 07 08 for(Integer k = 0; k < allDaysBetween ;k++ ) 09 { 10 if(checkifWorkingDay(date1.addDays(k), holidays)) 11 { 12 allWorkingDays++; 13 } 14 } 15 16 return allWorkingDays; 17 } 18 19 public boolean checkifWorkingDay(Date currentDate, List holidays) 20 { 21 Date weekStart = currentDate.toStartofWeek(); 22 23 for(Holiday hDay : holidays) 24 { 25 if(currentDate.daysBetween(hDay.ActivityDate) == 0) 26 { 27 return false; 28 } 29 } 30 31 if(weekStart.daysBetween(currentDate) == 0 || weekStart.daysBetween(currentDate) == 6) 32 { 33 return false; 34 } 35 else 36 { 37 return true; 38 } 39 } Then you can subtract it from the number of days in total that year to get the number of leaves. hope this helps. Cheers!"
