I'm trying to replace in but the bolts are frozen. I've sprayed them with WD and 3-1 oil. Do you think that will help or do you suggest anything else? Thanks

Tried warning up the engine a little bit?

Thanks. The engine was already warm so that wasn't it. I waited about 10 min or so for the 3in1 oil to do it's job. I was able to remove the bolts with a straight ratcheting screwdriver and a wrench. I had a little bit of a struggle getting the top hose back in place to reconnect it. Other than that and some muscle on the wrench, it was simple. Thanks again for the well done video, It helped me a lot!

Does it work on the 3.3 and 3.8?

It seems to be the same type of valve according to the info from the auto parts store. That being the case, it should work for the 3.3...

I would file down the back of the alternator bracket while the EGR is off to make it easier to remove the EGR next time. The tabs on the top of the EGR should be bent down. Install the pipe tube bolts loose to line them up and then tighten them tight.

Have you had stalling problems? I have the same van and it just shut off. Heard it could be EGR

Had it once, at a parking lot.... I got into the lot, looking for a spot and engine just shutdown. It started right away and it hasn't happened since. I don't know about it being the EGR though. This happened long after I replaced the EGR and I didn't get the Check Engine warning light.

Towed it home and it started the next day. It's very dangerous. So imma try the EGR valve / cam and crank sensors. Apparently there has been one death because of it. Trying to get it sorted out. Lots of people in that forum are talking about their vans and experience. I'm afraid to drive the thing now.
