I love Sali, could listen to her for hours. Never understand the whole trolling situation - why would anyone want to do that to someone?

Couldn't agree more with you, it is very bizarre indeed. Glad you enjoyed the episode, thanks for sharing!

This was so interesting , Poor Sali didn’t know she had gone through this , where is all this hate coming from ? Why can’t we all be kind to each other ? It makes me so sad 😞 x

So glad I stumbled upon this interview. Have liked Sali Hughes for a while but now I love her she’s come from nothing and is now an inspirational honest woman we can all enjoy her gift of writing about many topics even the Queen. Great interview thanks.

I love Sali Hughes. What a fantastically engaging guest. Loved that she has come so fat from the beginnings she described to be successful in her field. It’s so inspirational to hear her speak so passionately about perfume and how evocative that and her recall of make up has been the storybook of her life. Thanks for such an entertaining discussion. 😘

Great interview with Sali! Very moving as she talked about standing up to trolls - inspiring. I too used the original Cleanse and Polish - part of my mixtape too :)!

A very interesting interview, thank you. I hope that Sali’s book about the Queen is suitable for the older generation who I am sure would get enjoyment from it. I wanted to buy the Angela Kelly for my 90 year old mother (younger than the Queen, of course!) but the print was absolutely minute and she would not have been able to read it even with the strongest magnifying glass (not very well thought out by the publishers, I thought - in fact would the Queen herself be able to read the print??).

I’m afraid the ‘trolling’ is completely beyond my comprehension, I just don’t understand it at all. What on earth does someone get out of hating/bullying someone else? I must be very naive, I just don’t get it.

Completely agree - all very bizarre. It costs nothing to be kind
