I just enjoy cutting them up as a craft project and teaching others! Vancouver is cold for most of the year so I don't wear them that often. I'd wear cut up t-shirts more for going to the gym or to the beach, depending on the t-shirt.

I really appreciate the random (bits and pieces) of knowledge you add as you got thru the video. That is very generous of you and it really adds motivation for us who are unsure of venturing into shirt reconstruction.....lovely voice and great personality...thank you......j

My word!! Peeps and their negative comments! Has anyone been taught, "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all!" Or, just don't watch her post. I LOVE the details you have posted, for those of us who have never cut designs in their t-shirts, the detailed video is VERY informative. THANKS!!

I have never made shirts like this before I have always wanted to know how too. This was very simple and easy! Thanks much appreciated!

That's interesting, I never tried taking the thread out before. Thanks for the idea! But I ended up using the cut off fabric as string to tie the middle anyway.

Which example in the video reflects the one shown in the thumbnail image? Is it the very last one? It's a bit hard for me to tell because in the image you aren't wearing the gray shirt underneath that you wore for the video. Great ideas by the way!

Hey do you have to cut the neckline...I have an old V-neck tshirt and I simly love the neckline
@SalinaSiu11 жыл бұрын
No, you don't have to cut the neckline! You'll just need to cut a straight line across on the back where you want the bows to start.
@CyanFairyWren10 жыл бұрын
Would it work almost the same if I did it on the side? The back of the shirt I want to cut has a really cool design, but the sides are really bland.
@merilevine402310 жыл бұрын
How did it go? I was thinking of doing the same, just one column on each side
@SalinaSiu10 жыл бұрын
Yeah doing the design on the side would work!

Awesome. I started customizing my black leggings a few years ago. Your tutorials have given me a lot of ideas to try this summer. Time to stock up on black leggings. Have you tried doing anything with leggings? Sometimes I'll layer my leggings in contrasting colors so I can get creative yet not show much skin. Would love to see what you could come up with using other items other than t-shirts. Thank you. Keep the videos coming :)

Hi Lucy, I'm (old) trying to keep up with the slang kids use so I know what my kids are up to at all times. :) Could you please explain what "Fetch Duddet" means/implies? I'm assuming it's a good thing but I learned a long time ago not to assume anything about the way kids use the English language these days. lol Thanks so much ahead of time. (I hope you're still online using this account so you'll see this message! I just noticed it's been five years since your comment was posted.)
