Salisbury police station: Awe and shock!

Spoke to 9 other coppers before these 2 halfwits including the 2 in the garden and ALL were fantastic. A real shame because i was getting good vibes from this place they almost all seemed very pleasant. Full review...

I’m from Salisbury we used to have a big police station but it was sold and the police ended up in the council offices. The gardens been there years and is known as the secret garden. Love watching you and I’m so glad you put her in her place 👍

Section 50 requires that she reasonably suspects that you have engaged in antisocial behaviour. She didn't have any grounds to suspect that, she just expected that you would be ignorant of the law and take her word for it that you would be committing an offense by not giving details. She tried to deceive you and coerce you into waiving your rights and giving her your personal information, to which she had no lawful right. The male Officer who intervened after that was very good to be fair.

Its actually 'reasonable belief' ('reason to believe' is the exact wording) that is required. This is a higher threshold of suspicion than 'reasonable suspicion'. Say a hunch or feeling is 1-3 on a suspicion scale, reasonable suspicion would be 4-7, where there is some information or intelligence to reach a suspicion, a reasonable belief would be 8-10 on the scale, where the constable would perhaps witnessed the ASB himself, or have some pretty irrefutable evidence that ASB is, or has taken place. Simply taking photos falls well short of any sort of ASB.

You could have also pushed her questioning about if you had a car, why she was pushing that highlights she wanted to search for it to acquire your details that way, and she was saying its a long way to walk the dog as a tool to say you were lying to give her investigation more credibility. Officers like that are worse than worthless, they are a thorn in the side of the good officers and getting these types of individuals off the force is what auditors are trying to do, so stop with the assuming auditors are some kind of criminal when its the complete opposite. You lot want to be seen by the public as good for the community then reach out and give auditors the opportunity to highlight the bad one's you lot know are in the force, if you dont want to do that then you simply dont care your colleagues are potentially creating crimes, instigating negative views of the police and potentially ruining lives by incriminating innocent members of the public.
