Nice set of announcements! I prefer Rodger's "Please allow others to leave the train before boarding" to his mind the gap announcement. Sad that Anne still...... speaks......... really......... slowly....... at........times.

Thanks Tom. I find Anne speaks too slowly on SWR. Would prefer it if both Anne and Rodger had just re-recorded everything for SWR so it wasn't a weird mix between old and new recordings.

I think it applies to all SWRs 158/159 services. I think it's to keep passengers from standing in the front vestibule to reduce the risk of them falling out/jumping out onto the third rail in case the driver needs to open the front door for whatever reason. Most SWR 158s/159s run over the third rail at some point in their journey

Because the first set of doors on SWR 158s and 159s are used as an emergency exit.
