At what segment we should pull the head so it comes out smoothly?

@@radhikamhatre1645 pull out only the head. If done properly the salivary glands will just come out. No need to start from any segment. But if u want, u can start from 1-3rd segments.

Hi. Salivary gland dissection from chironomus and drosophila larvae requires a bit of practice. By the time u dissect 5/6 larvae, you will begin to get the hang of it. Practice is key. Goodluck 🙂
