West Somerset Railway: Bishops Lydeard to Minehead, February 2018

Take a journey on England's longest heritage railway - the West Somerset Railway.
We travelled by steam from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead in February 2018, as guests of the West Somerset Railway. Our journey took around 90 minutes and visited eight stations in between. We then had a 30 minute break at Minehead, before heading back to Bishops Lydeard.

I travelled on a steam train last year and it was so much fun! We had lunch too and a murder mystery experience. It was amazing. The views look so gorgeous from this train.

so fun!!! we've done some old train rides recently, our kids aren't quite old enough to appreciate it so it was more of a headache than anything haha!! but I love them, always feel like I'm stepping back in time, or onto Hogwarts Express or something hehe

No, no McDonalds! A Buffet car isn't that kind of buffet - it's where you can buy light refreshments, hot and cold drinks, snacks etc
